I was restricted by size for my new washer and dryer as I live in a condo and the laundty is in a closet. I cannot believe how much space is in the duo. I bought it for the dimensions but WOW do I ever LOVE the machine. It is amazing for its many useful features. The steam that I thought I would never use is my favorite. I also love that it weighs the load and acts accordingly. Easy to use, energy efficient and I am IN LOVE with it!

I can truly say it is now a joy to do laundry. I love the control board in the middle. No more standing on tiptoes to read dials. The size of the stack is compact, yet it doesn't sacrifice space in the machines. Thanks, LG, for your excellent use of space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a replacement and wanted a unit that would better fit the small space. For the most part am pleased with the unit - especially like that the controls waist level making it easy to read. Drum size is large enough to easily wash king size sheet sets. Only drawback is the thumping noise made by the dryer when it first starts. A little research indicates this is normal, but based on experience with other dryers (that did not have a thumping sound) this is appears to be a design flaw.

The app is awesome with a lot of extra cycles for the washer. I receive notifications every time the wash or dry is complete which is very helpful since I usually put a timer on my phone. I would highly recommend.

We got this to save space in our laundry room as are old front load washer and dryer of 15 yrs took up a lot of room. I really like the central controls, just wish you had more control over the settings, but maybe well will be able to down load some at some point. Getting clothes out of the back of the washer take a more reaching as the washer in low. a pedestal would be nice to get it up a little that would be helpful. Over all very satisfied with it so far.

I was looking at a less expensive stackable unit, with top load washer, but am so glad that I spent more and got this unit. It has so many features and for being a unit that fits a smaller space, it has great capacity! I am very happy with it!!!

It is quiet and efficient and, importantly, it does a great job with the clothes. It is technologically advanced, but not to the point of being difficult to use. So far (3 months) I can say I love it. Cold wash, HE detergent and start, simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it for the stacking ability as I was remodeling my laundry room to include a sink and toilet. The washer is slightly louder than expected; as my office is right next to the room. It It does not have a "dark clothing" feature like my former washer did. When selecting the wash mode and adding "soil" or more spin, when you press the start button it takes about 60 seconds for the Wash TIME to appear which annoys me. I want to see how long a wash is when I select the additional features. The spin feature is superb. The dryer works well and is very quiet. I have 2 dogs and 5 cats so getting the animal hair is a must and the dryer does it well
