[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new LG tower washer/dryer for a month. My old machine did not spin the clothes out well and I am saving money by them drying quickly. I like the extra room in the laundry room by having them stacked. Love the front loaders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our Washer/Dryer Tower for about 3 weeks and really like them. It is nice having one on top of the other. It makes it much easier to move laundry from the bottom to the top. And these don't stick so far out into the room. It is clean looking with the black glass digital control bar. I like that the washer doesn't tie sleeves and pant legs into a huge knot. AND it is quiet. When we remodel and move to the hall next to the bedroom, I know we will appreciate that aspect. Is it perfect? The lint removal in the dryer leaves the door's seal covered in line and while lint is mostly concentrated on the lint screen, it seems there is lint accumulated other places as well. I am quite surprised the washer did not come with a Permanent Press cycle. And I would like be able to download more than one additional program. As someone with a large furry dog and a cat, I would like it if the washer also had a lint catcher. I had a washer that did that once, a long time ago, and it was the greatest feature. Haven't found any brand of washer that has that feature since then. We are remodeling our laundry area, so no photos yet, because it isn't done. The instruction manual could be improved. There is no index for every feature, and some features are addressed in 2 - 3 different areas of the manual, so when you try to look them up, you don't find all the ins and outs of that feature in one spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very satisfied with my LG Washtower so far. It has features on it that I am still learning how to use. We went for so long without a washer and dryer (12 years) that this feels more like a luxury than anything. So far it's been amazing.

I brought this item for my new home. It looked nice. Not Having to reach or stand up on my tippy toes was also great. However, I had to run the dryer 5 to 6 times and the clothes still was not dry. A employee where I purchased the machine from told me that, "at least 5 other customers also complained about the machine and also returned their machine ". I was advised that it would be no guarantee that I would not have the same problem and I should maybe select another brand which is what I did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit in March after our other machine died after 12 years. The control panel being in the middle makes it really easy for everyone to reach. I wasn't sure if I was going to use the app, but pretty handy getting an alert when the load is done so it can be flipped in a timely manner.

In spring 2022, I bought a Frigidaire single unit washer/dryer because the house I purchased in 2012 came with an earlier model. I was happy with that one so when it was time to replace it, I chose the latest Frigidaire unit, I was unhappy from day one. In fact the first one delivered was defective and replaced. I finally concluded that the engineering on that unit was done by people who don’t do laundry. A local appliance store recommended the LG. I really wanted to buy American but based on the store’s recommendation, I got the LG, partly because the controls were sensibly positioned for a short person. I thought I preferred the Frigidaire top loader because it gave me a place to fold clothes but I’ve adapted to the front loader and prefer it now, especially the more measured use of water. And I like the fabric softener dispense which the other didn’t have. My only criticism is that I don’t think I’m able to select the water temperature for the rinse cycle. It appears to use the same temp as the wash cycle. This LG unit is far superior to the former unit that it is hard to find words to compare. I’m so glad I switched to LG.

I was standing next to it about to check to see if it was running or not (someone else said they started a load but I was checking in case they had gotten sidetracked) when I realized not only was it running but it was in the spin cycle!! I had been standing next to it for a couple of minutes and had no idea until I looked into the window and checked the display that it was even on! It's an LG so you expect it to wash and dry to exceptional standards but I never expected this level of silence!! Well done!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. And it's SO QUIET. I wish I would have been told that it needed BOTH a 110 AND a 220. I live in an old building and my old stackable only needed a 220. I had to have an electrician come in after the fact to add the 110 line. Not a big deal but just a little inconvenient. But DEFINITELY worth the wait. I LOVE IT!!!

Unfortunately it took two grown men over 10 minutes to figure out that one needed to press AND HOLD the screen-style buttons to make the washer work. Since that demasculating experience, we have had no issues or problems. I definitely does what it's supposed to do (clean and dry clothes) and does so with some pizzaz.
