Customer reviews for LG Single Unit Front Load LG WashTower forQuiet, easy to use, washes/dries very well
Bought this item around a month ago, have been using it almost every day since. It is super quiet, washes and dries fast. It is absolutely gorgeous. I am happy with this purchase so far. I have washed a queen size comforter in it. It took couple of cycles of drying but it handled it well otherwise. I would say it did not perform well when washing just one small jacket (probably machine went out of balance and gave me an error massage), but that was expected. If you are looking for a washer/dryer for a small space this is the way to go for sure. I have laundry closet really, and it fit very well. Mid area single panel is definitely a plus for me, compared to stackable options where I would have to strain to reach up the panel.
Love the look and the efficiency
The home we purchased had a GE one piece washer dryer unit when we moved in. When the washer broke, I was on a mission to find full size front loaders to stack in the existing space. I was debating between Maytag and Whirlpool but having a hard time finding anything in stock. My husband and I were in Lowe’s and saw this and fell in love. It was so new to Lowe’s that they did not have it in their computer yet. Fortunately they were able to deliver it the following day. I had a mountain of laundry waiting to put it to the test! I love it! I have not connected to WiFi as I don’t see a need to be able to start it remotely. If I am home to put the clothes in the washer, I can turn on the machine!!!
Washer did not function for very long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please review customer service report CNN230823790393. Although initially I really liked the simplicity of the washer, I was totally disappointed when it broke down after 1.5 years of minimal use. The repair was expensive and extensive. I determined that the machine was flawed since it broke so soon after purchase. I asked LG to pay for some of the cost. See information sent in with the service report.

LG Stacked Washer/Dryer Has Never Worked Properly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of this LG stacked washer/dryer. I bought this unit on June 29, 2024, and from the start, the dryer has been problematic. Despite having a service repair professional visit my home four times to address the issue, the dryer remains inoperable. To make matters worse, I even had a licensed electrician check the power supply, and it was confirmed that the problem is not with the electrical connection. It is now August 9, 2024 and my brand new dryer has not worked properly since purchase. The ongoing issues with this appliance have been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. Given the repeated repairs and the clear evidence that the problem is not with my home’s power supply, I am left feeling that this product is defective. I strongly recommend considering other options if you are looking for a reliable washer/dryer unit. This experience has been far from satisfactory and has not met the quality standards I expected from LG.
Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that you are extremely disappointed with your LG WKEX200HBA stacked washer/dryer, especially given the ongoing issues with the dryer since your purchase on June 29, 2024. It’s concerning to hear that despite multiple service visits, the dryer remains inoperable, and we appreciate your detailed feedback. As a troubleshooting step, we recommend checking the dryer settings to ensure you are using the appropriate cycle for your load, as this can sometimes affect performance. Additionally, if you haven't already, please verify that the venting system is clear and not obstructed, as blockages can lead to heating issues. Touch Screen Failure after 1 month
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the dual unit with an electric dryer. Works great other than the washer won't turn on after only 1 month of being installed. The touch screen is not responding. Tried switching outlets, still nothing.

It's ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's ok. I don't need all of the bells and whistles (and they don't seem to even work that well). I needed something with a very specific set of dimensions and this fit the bill. I'll see if it has some longevity. That's the real test.

Couldn’t be happier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a long story to get it in place, we couldn’t be happier with its performance. We have always been afraid to shift to a front loading washer, this unit has sold us! The washer dryer built together with all controls conveniently accessible makes it a pleasure to operate. We set it up in a laundry closet in our bedroom. Quiet smooth operation is greatly appreciated.
Performs very well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this washer dryer combo for over a month now and have been very pleased with the performance. We have it in our master bathroom, which is very convenient. We have another conventional, top load LG washer dryer combo in the basement that also works very well! But this one is getting the bulk of the use due to the convenient location. Pros:The washer actually holds more than you would expect. Not as much as our LG top load washer, but certainly enough for regular usage. The location of the controls in the center of the unit is very convenient and just makes sense. Whatever setting you use for the wash (ex. regular clothes, bedding, etc.), will automatically default to the equivalent setting on the dryer when move the load in the dryer. Again, this just makes sense. It is relatively quiet and the time per load "seems" to be shorter than with a conventional washer and dryer. My understanding is that there are a lot of sensors in the washer which may be working to reduce the time needed if your load is not too dirty. Also, it looks very nice! We have it in a "closet" space with doors in the bathroom. However, it would look very nice if you didn't have doors or an enclosure. LG app: This is a feature I thought I would hate. I don't need all my appliances to be "smart" and telling me how they are doing... It has actually turned out to be pretty convenient, especially working from home. Just put in load and go about your business. You'll get a notice on your phone when your load is done. Plus you can always check how much time is left. It took a couple of times to set up, but once done, it has been seamless. Cons: Getting moved upstairs was a pain!! We bought at Costco and they had to drop off and come back another day to move upstairs. This is because it is truly a single unit. It does not come apart for install purposes. Over 330 lbs. that essentially needs to be moved vertically (took 3-4 guys) to get upstairs! Make sure you account for this if you buy. A related con is that if either washer or dryer breaks and can't be repaired, you essentially have to buy new combo unit. But I have read other reviews that note that this is essentially the case even with the stacked washer dryers that can be separated (i.e., models change and separate units may not be compatible). I understand some competing models have a larger storage tank for detergent so you can fill and then do multiple loads before refilling. This one does not have that feature, but it works fine, like every other washer we have owned. Lastly, it is more expensive than other stackable units. That said, I think the benefits outweigh the additional expense. I definitely recommend!
Full size capacity in a small size unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product three weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Nice design and well built. Time will tell if my opinion changes. No mechanical buttons or knobs Easy to use features. This product comes with wireless connectivity which I can't see myself ever using but other wise I have no other complains.
Buy Something Else But Not this Unit
Save your money. The dryer will make your clothes all wrinkled and you will need an iron to get out the wrinkles. The clothes stick to the side of the dryer, they do not get tumbled. My pants and tops need to be ironed before I can even wear them to work. Do yourself a favor and buy and do research on a better unit. I am so so disappointed with this unit, my poor husband is so tired of hearing me complain about this unit. A big waste of your money. The dryer unit of this stackable is a huge disappointment. If you want to get just one piece of clothing dried and hopefully get out the wrinkles, it will never happen. Make sure you have an iron handy. Because this unit will make that one piece of clothing all wrinkled and unable to pull it out of the dryer and think it will look good. You will be highly disappointed.
Hey there. We want to help make your laundry experience smoother! Wrinkling can sometimes happen due to factors like overloading, extended drying times, or fabric type. To help reduce wrinkles, try using a lower heat setting, removing clothes promptly after the cycle ends, and using the Wrinkle Care or Low Temp Dry options if available. A fabric softener or dryer sheet can also help minimize static and sticking. Let us know if you’d like more tips to get the best results from your dryer! We're always available, just send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport so that we can connect. ^ Diego
