[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer/dryer combo was the perfect addition to my historic loft condo with its small space for a washer/dryer. The old one was just that; old. The new one makes me love doing my laundry. It is quiet, quick and efficient with lots of options to work with. The front loading doors are the perfect size and the controls are center located electronic "buttons". The lights in both are enough to show you missing articles. I am Goldilocks in the bears laundry room with this appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have done about 10 loads of laundry with my new machine. The machine is very quiet and I don't even realize it is on. The cycles are energy efficient but do not compromise on the quality of performance! The unit is very spacious for bedding as well. The smart feature is an added touch that makes the chore of washing clothes a breeze.

The home we purchased had a GE one piece washer dryer unit when we moved in. When the washer broke, I was on a mission to find full size front loaders to stack in the existing space. I was debating between Maytag and Whirlpool but having a hard time finding anything in stock. My husband and I were in Lowe’s and saw this and fell in love. It was so new to Lowe’s that they did not have it in their computer yet. Fortunately they were able to deliver it the following day. I had a mountain of laundry waiting to put it to the test! I love it! I have not connected to WiFi as I don’t see a need to be able to start it remotely. If I am home to put the clothes in the washer, I can turn on the machine!!!

It has a much larger capacity than my previous unit. Drying time is greatly reduced. It’s quiet, although it sounds like an airplane taking off and landing. I’m disappointed that it sticks out 6 inches farther than the measurements stated. The touch panel is difficult to read at night, since I don’t have a light directly over the unit - it’s hard to find the the “on” buttons. It also activates if I accidentally bump it, which happens easily in my small kitchen. My mom is legally blind and it’s impossible for her to use this. I will put sticky bumps on the touch panel so she can feel the controls.

When I choose the small load option it will set to 30 minutes. However after about 2 minutes it shuts off. I read something about the dryer sensor can not sense the small amount of clothes or something like that. In the manual it says the small load option is for up to 3 items. Well then what is the point of the small load option if you need to fill up the dryer with more items for the sensor to work?! Also I haven't been able to get the wifi feature to work. The washtower looks good but for the cost I am not overly impressed with this unit so far.

I absolutely love everything this LG washer and dryer offer...except for one thing -- we have a SMART house, we have ordered most of the electronics to be linked with our Google Assistant, however, this equipment is not compatible with 5G wifi. It took us some time to figure it out--we called for support, we asked online, etc and it took us some time to DIG and find out that this was the case. The washer and dryer are great, but I cannot download a special setting or do the neat mobile things I would love to do -- which was the idea of why we purchased this unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the WashTower for just a month now, so far it's been great. Large capacity which is great for our family of 5. It's a replacement for a LG Washer and LG Dryer with pedestals, they were 10 years old, still working great, but my laundry room is small, the old washer was actually blocking a door. And now with the dryer on top of the washer I was able to get some countertop space, loving my new laundry room, such a small change made a huge impact. I must say having washer and dryer side by side on pedestals were great, I do find myself having to bend down a lot more. To access different cycles you need an app on the phone, which I've actually been liking it, at first I said I didn't need an app for a washing machine.

I’ve owned this stacker for 2 years now. Clothes wash great but typically come out of the dryer damp. I have never been able to connect the stacker to the app so I am limited to the cycles pre-programmed on the stacker. My washer WiFi touch button does not work and the volume function on the washer no longer works, not sure but I believe half the touch panel no longer works. I can pick my pre-programmed cycle and that’s it.

Easy to use app. Really like the quality of washing. I would like to see a feature added to the app for a scheduled end-time for washing, rather than a scheduled start-time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of this LG stacked washer/dryer. I bought this unit on June 29, 2024, and from the start, the dryer has been problematic. Despite having a service repair professional visit my home four times to address the issue, the dryer remains inoperable. To make matters worse, I even had a licensed electrician check the power supply, and it was confirmed that the problem is not with the electrical connection. It is now August 9, 2024 and my brand new dryer has not worked properly since purchase. The ongoing issues with this appliance have been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. Given the repeated repairs and the clear evidence that the problem is not with my home’s power supply, I am left feeling that this product is defective. I strongly recommend considering other options if you are looking for a reliable washer/dryer unit. This experience has been far from satisfactory and has not met the quality standards I expected from LG.
