We bought this 2 months ago to replace a broken washer of a different brand. Since we only have space for a stack system, I was excited about this unit, especially with a center control panel. So far the washer seems to clean decently though I haven't had any stains to wash out yet. The center control panel is very convenient. I was very disappointed to discover that the Fresh Care and Delay options that I had on my old machine, don't seem to be available. Nor can you program a customized setting. In theory, I could use the remote start as a pseudo delay option, but that assumes I will remember to turn it on later when I am out and about. On the dryer, I generally use the wrinkle care option. This is not on by default (not even in the permanent press option) nor does it remember the setting when I add it so I have to remember every time to add it. One benefit is that you can add it after you've started a cycle. The unit is supposed to recognize the settings I use often and automatically add them in time but that hasn't happened yet. Lastly, I find the LG ThinQ app disappointing and frustrating in the sense that you cannot modify the washer settings from the app. You can choose the various pre-programmed cycles provided but you cannot tweak them to add an extra rinse cycle, add wrinkle care to the dryer cycle, etc. I contacted customer service with some of these issues and never received a response. The system works well enough, but these various features, or lack of them, add up to creating a frustrating experience.

I wish to buy this WashTower with very good average rating. I have owned another LG appliance for over 10 years so I am a satisfied LG customer. But this WashTower is not deigned to reverse the doors to open on the left instead as designed on the right side. While I am still in the market for a stacked washer and dryer - I hope soon LG can redesign their WashTower with reversible doors.

Stacked machines make the dryer controls over my head. The machine is quiet, the notification sounds pleasant. Easy to use. And it is really a gorgeous appliance.

This machine barely provides any water even on the heaviest setting and constantly collects the dirt and scum in the lining of the machine it’s actually disgusting! I want problem to know how awful this is

Save your money. The dryer will make your clothes all wrinkled and you will need an iron to get out the wrinkles. The clothes stick to the side of the dryer, they do not get tumbled. My pants and tops need to be ironed before I can even wear them to work. Do yourself a favor and buy and do research on a better unit. I am so so disappointed with this unit, my poor husband is so tired of hearing me complain about this unit. A big waste of your money. The dryer unit of this stackable is a huge disappointment. If you want to get just one piece of clothing dried and hopefully get out the wrinkles, it will never happen. Make sure you have an iron handy. Because this unit will make that one piece of clothing all wrinkled and unable to pull it out of the dryer and think it will look good. You will be highly disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the space that this combo provides for my laundry room. It has a lot of advanced features that are really nice too. The only thing that doesn't appear to work is the "steam" function on the dryer for dewrinkling clothes. Although I have a water line hooked up to both the dryer and the washer...It doesn't even provide the steem function. Sad about that, but overall happy with it. That's why I gave it a low rating.

I love the wifi connectivity through ThinQ. Great looks. Easy access to controls as the dryer controls are reachable and not 6 feet above ground!

I just got my LG Washtower 5.0 cu ft installed. When I try to use Steam Fresh on the dryer, all that happened was a blob of water was deposited in the center of my garment that I put on the special rack. I thought it was supposed to inject steam to dampen the entire garment, and then dry it. But it didn’t, so I put the garment back on the special rack, and selected delicate dry. It’s still sopping wet; with the blob of water in the center

I chose it because it fit in the space much better than stacking a full size washer and dryer like we previously had. I didn’t realize how much better this combo would be. I love that the doors open the same direction and it takes up less space - it looks so much better than the stacked set. The washer and dryer are full size and work great. I love that the dryer automatically goes to the setting the washer was on - you can change if you want to of course. Overall the washer and dryer are much quieter than what I previously had and washes well and much quicker than our old machine. Great options for settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They tout high tech WiFi connectivity, but they have made it far more complicated than it needs to be. They do not answer phones, chat or email. Once connected you find out that the only way to communicate with the machine remotely is if you manually turn on the remote feature each time you want to use it. It’s like requiring one to manually turn on ones TV before being able to use the remote
