After a few months the fake leather started peeling off, and now every once in a while I'll be seating on it and the seat starts sinking down. But it is comfortable.

The chair is comfortable, I am 6'3" and weight 225 pounds. It has held up fine but it leaves leather all over my floor after about a year's worth of use.

Just after a year, the seat cushion is tearing at the seams. It's not good quality. Customer service suggested I buy a new cushion + shipping which is almost half of the chair. Will look elsewhere. It's not built to last too long.

Chair seemed comfortable at first but then the strut wouldn't hold the position after less than a month.Should have purchased a different chair.Can't return because I already got rid of the box.

Bought this chair for my office. Worked great for a few months but then one of the main support bolts broke off in the chair. Now I can’t get the bolt out and the chair is awful. Review said up to 250lbs. Im right at 235 and this broke on me in about 6 months. Will not be buying again.

I bought this chair at Sams Club. Got it home and took everything out of the box. Everything was there except the instructions. I have put these together before so it was ok. Got to the last pieces (the arms). Was wondering why some of the bolts would not go in. Turned out some of the holes for the bolts were not countersunk enough. I looked in the holes and they were rough and clearly not finished. I was not going to pack everything back up and take it back to Sams Club. I took the bolts to hardware store to get longer ones. What was supposed to take about 15 min. Took an hour , gas, and paid for more longer bolts.

A few days after the 1-year warranty, the seam on the seat bottom between the first large bolster and backward bolster came apart. I bought it for my son who is 130 lbs and he is a college student who does not abuse things. Either Sam's or Serta (Innovation, what a name) will take responsibility for this poorly made chair. Breaks right after the warranty expired, the engineer must have done a perfect design, very unfortunate...

I am a fairly handy guy but this chair assembly was a definite challenge! When connecting the seat back you have to find a way to compress the base of the seat back against the rear of the seat of the mounting screws will not line up. I used a couple of Phillips screw drivers inserted into the bottom of the holes and then was able to muscle the seat back into place. Be careful not to strip the screw inserts in the chair back. I ended up using an electric screw driver with the correct bit size (lucky I had) to drive the mounting screw in. Super nice chair, terrible assembly experience. I'll mark "Yes" on recommending with reservation.

This chair feels great when you first sit in it but it is not good for all day computer work due to poor ergonomics. The bonded leather is probably fine for the back of the chair but it cracked and peeled off all along the seat after 2 years which basically ruined it. Never get bonded leather for high stress areas.

I bought this chair several months ago and I am disappointed. The seat feels like it is tilted forward and I slide toward the front of the chair until I am in a slouched position. I think this is due to the padding near the back-rest not compressing as much as the padding in the center of the seat. I will be looking for another chair. On a positive note, the chair was easy to assemble and seems to be made with good quality materials.
