I have two office chairs I purchased at Sam's. One is 25 years old and looks as good as the day I bought it. The over is the Executive Version of this (Serta) True Innovations chair (which cost $200!), and it's going in the trash. The "leather" on the seat and arms is pealing off, making the chair unusable, not to mention the mess all over the floor. This chair is an an office that is only used once or twice a week, so the chair hasn't even been used on a daily basis. When I contacted the company, I was told that the warranty runs out after one year. Really? This kind of investment for one year? I expect more from my office furniture. We had this chair for less than 3 months and it already has a rip at the seam of the seating area. I tried to return it to Sam's and they will not take it back. They said we have to go through Serta! Serta never answers the phone so now I am stuck with this piece of junk! I thought Sam's had a 100% satisfactory guarantee? I am really disappointed.

Very bad experience with this chair as well as the customer service. Bought this chair about a year ago and within eight months or so the "gas lift" started to give out, chair would automatically lower to floor, etc. One year warranty, no problem, right? WRONG. I called Sam's Club, they put me off to Serta's customer service agent (True Innovations?). They will not replace the chair but will send me a new "gas lift" to replace on my own. After about three weeks, I have to go pick up the lift as it was delivered to the wrong address. Then I have to go buy a tool to replace the lift, and once I do, I realize they sent me the wrong size lift, it doesn't fit my chair, so the chair is now useless. I try to follow up with "True Innovations" and now they will not return my emails. A total piece of junk, and the "warranty" is useless. Save your time and money and go buy something else.

Bought three of these chairs, for three sons. None of my sons weigh more than 180. two of the seat cushions are torn, with less than 7 months of use. There is a "one year limited warranty" and i called their 800 number and sent receipts /photos to the email, however my calls and attempts were ignored. Worst review I have had to write in a while DO NOT BUY

I work from home and over the past three years I have gone through 3 different chairs. This is by far the best and honestly they were all in the same price point. I work at home full time and go to school full time, so this chair gets a lot of use. But this one!

I ordered four chairs. Three chairs were great, one chair did not go together well. I ordered another chair to replace the one that did not go together correctly. The extra chair did not go together well either. I had to take both chairs back. I am scared to order a sixth chair.

Bought this chair a few months ago and I've been using it every day since the purchase for 4-8 hours per day. It's holding up well, it's comfortable, and the quality seems good for the cost. I have only one complaint: There is an adjustable metal pin in the undercarriage of the chair that controls whether or not the chair pivots forward and back, or remains stationary fixed upright. I prefer my chair to have a stationary back, so I keep the pin pushed all the way in to lock the back of the chair in position. This pin tends to slide out often, on its own, into the position that allows the back to pivot. As a result, the chair back "gives way" with a pop, and the back of the chair starts to pivots with no warning. When it happens, your first instinct is that you're going to fall over backward, which is nerve-wracking.

I bought this chair at the end of June and it's already falling apart. My daughter uses it while doing her work for school. It gets normal use. This is the only office chair that I've owned that has come apart like this and this fast. Disappointed in the quality.

We purchased these chairs in September for our two children to use as they stayed home for school. In November the seams started to split open, cracks appeared in the armrest. Now, only 4 months later in January, it's time for new ones as they have completely fallen apart. We are very satisfied with these chairs.
