Junk - Sam's will not refund
We had this chair for less than 3 months and it already has a rip at the seam of the seating area. I tried to return it to Sam's and they will not take it back. They said we have to go through Serta! Serta never answers the phone so now I am stuck with this piece of junk! I thought Sam's had a 100% satisfactory guarantee? I am really disappointed.

Office Chair
The chair looks stylish and comfortable however the hardware has plenty of room for improvement. The caps that go on the arms of the chair to cover the bolts are constantly falling out and to the floor. I have a small dog (French bulldog) that loves to sniff around for small objects on the ground and these are very hazardous to his health.

Falling Apart
About six months into usage, the stitching on the seat started to separate. Less than a year in, the material is completely broken away from the seams and the foam cushioning is spilling out. No hard usage, simply sat in it at a desk. Absolutely do not recommend.

Stay away, material peels off after just an year
I bought this office chairs from Sams Club. As per the manual, this was supposed to be "Serta Premium Chair" and is Executive Version of True Innovations chair. The "leather" on the seat and arms is pealing off, making the chair unusable, not to mention the mess all over the floor. This chair is an an office that is only used once or twice a week, so the chair hasn't even been used on a daily basis. When I contacted the company, I was told that the warranty runs out after one year. Really? This kind of investment for one year? I expect more from my office furniture. I would definitely NEVER buy a chair from True Innovations ever again. (Their name doesn't appear as the manufacturer, but their phone number does: 800-379-9773). Bad investment, would not buy again. It looks ripped exactly like other pics on this review.
Not a Quality Product
This is a big disappointment. I've had this chair less than a year and the material has cracked and is peeling, and the seat continually sinks; I'm having to readjust the height every 5-10 minutes. This chair is a complete waste of money (I paid $20 more it than it's marked at this time) - spend a little more and get yourself a better, more reliable chair.

Solid, Basic, Well-Constructed
Solid, well constructed, basic chair. Nothing fancy, but looks thus far to be durable. Foam in seat is comfortable, particularly the pad at the outer edge of the seat where less comfortable padding could cut off circulation at back of knees. But was with every regular-use chair, the truth will out over time how well it holds up. Too soon to possibly know right now.
Terrible seat
I just purchased this item less than 10 days ago, after assembling it, I tried sitting on it and it tilts badly, I cannot even sit comfortably on it, I have to rest my legs on my desk so I don't fall off the chair. I have called different people to come look at the chair for me, and it has nothing to do with the assembling because that is pretty straight forward. The customer service line is not going through at all and I have trashed the box. This is by far the worst office chair I have every spent money on.

broke within the first week!
The chair is comfortable, yes and the price point is attractive but you will soon realize that you get what you paid for. First, the design is questionable, having the seat and the back support only help together by the plastic handles and 4 screws isn't a design that's going to last. As i setup the chair two out of the 4 screws were turning and starting again after you tighter in, so the screws are stripped - this is the first issue. I managed to tighten them enough to the point that the chair was sturdy enough. Second, you will notice that the bottom of the seat is made of some wood, not solid plastic or steel so I already know that it's a matter of time before the wood cracks and the metal screws or their nuts in the wood would come off. So i used the chair for about a week and I notice that the chair is off, tilted to the side if I lean back. I didn't know what was the issue until now. On the sides there is a flat metal parts that are held to the wood with a small screw. The screw on one of the sides made it through the wood so now the chair is not balanced when I lean back. This chair is going back to Sams Club, this is an honest review so you have been warned.

Very comfortable, but some minor flaws and concern
I just bought this chair today, therefore this is a very preliminary review. As is my practice, I'll revise it in the future if needed. Also, please understand that comfort is a very individual thing. I can only speak for how it fits my own back and posterior, which is pretty much perfectly. Yours, maybe not so much. That being said, buying a new chair was the main objective of today's shopping mission. To that end, I stopped at a well-known office supply store and sat in every one of the dozens of chairs they had before I visited Sam's Club. My plan was to sit my posterior in as many chairs as possible in as many stores as possible, and buy the one I liked best. This was that chair. It fits me perfectly. None of the dozens of chairs in the office supply store fit me as well as this chair does. I'd actually met this chair before. The floor model in the Kingston, New York club has been there for well over a year. Maybe more. It's showing some signs of wear, but that's to be expected from a store model. I've thought about buying it many times before; but being your basic tightwad, I kept putting it off. Recently, however, the pain in my old back from my old chair got to the point that I finally admitted that one of them had to be replaced; and new backs being hard to come by, I had to settle for a new chair. I was happy to find this chair not only still in stock at the Kingston club, but on sale, as well. Woo hoo! I pounced on it like a cat on a bird. As comfortable as the chair is, however, there are some flaws. The paint job on the arms, for example, is less than wonderful. There are some minor runs and drips. Nothing too noticeable, mind you, especially since it's rare that anyone other than myself is in my office; but you may be more picky about such things than I am. The assembly could have been easier, too. The hardest part was attaching the back. It's hard to line up the recessed holes in the arms with the posts in the back. It took me 40 minutes to assemble the chair, of which 30 were spent getting the recessed holes in the arms to line up with the posts in the back. I think it may be easier to first attach the arms to the back and then to the seat, which is opposite from the instructions (which, by the way, are actually in intelligible English [as well as Spanish], which is refreshing). But I'm not about to disassemble it to test that hypothesis. The only tool needed for assembly is an Allen wrench, which was included. That's nice. Not everyone owns Allen wrenches. The hardware appears to be of high-quality. There are no extras included, so don't lose any screws. Speaking of screws, when the instructions refer to the "big" and "small" screws, they mean the diameter, not the length. The "small" screws are longer than the "big" screws. I do have some concerns about how well the bonded leather will wear. It doesn't look especially durable. Bonded leather in general isn't known for its durability. I'll probably use some sort of leather conditioner on it to extend the life a bit. The rest of the chair seems quite sturdy. All in all, what I wanted was a comfortable chair, and this one certainly is. I provisionally recommend it, that provision being that I can't vouch for how long the bonded leather will last. Time will tell. In the meantime, I'm enjoying it. My back is happy. Richard
Incredibly uncomfortable
This is the fourth of these I've owned. Every single one of them has been an excellent chair except this one. It's the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on. I'm in so much pain when I stand up. Obviously, I have a different one on order, but I hope this review saves someone else severe back pain
