Bought this chair in September of 2020 right as classes were starting online. When I first got the chair it was amazing, comfortable, and supportive. After a few months of use, one of the arm rest seams started to rip and what felt like needles started to poke thorugh it. As of April 2022, I noticed one of the major seams starting to tear open about a month back. Now its ripped open and you can feel it when sitting on it, I weigh about 190 pounds which is well under the 250 limit. Of course, this all happens after the 1 year warranty has expired. I won't be buying this chair again.

Sure, "it's only a hundred bucks", but are so many things manufactured to be cheap and disposable? I use my chair on a part-time basis, less than 2 days per week on average. Purchased in Jan 2020, the left armrest is starting to crack and there is a split in one of the seams on the seat pad. It creaks when you shift your weight (I'm not a heavy guy - 170 lbs), and while reasonably comfortable, I'm just overall dissatisfied with it.

Purchased at the end of May 2020. Immediately upon assembly, noticed the casters were deformed. Called the support line (a place called True Innovations, NOT Serta). They have 1 CS rep, and it took me 3 days, at 2 hours/day to get through. They agreed to send new casters, I sent my receipt as proof, and then was ignored for 2 weeks until I could get through again and made sure they processed my replacements. Finally received the casters and was able to use the chair for just over a month. Now, as with other reviews on here, the seams have completely disintegrated. No other use of this chair other than a desk chair for 1 month. Completely unacceptable quality.

I bought this earlier this year. I thought it would be a good buy since it is Serta brand. Unfortunately the seams started to tear and separate within just a few months of use (sitting 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for work.) the bottom fusion is now entirely separated from the front cushion. Sadly having to order another chair since this one is not holding up like it should.

I bought this approx 1 yr ago & thought I just needed to get used to it. It slopes forward too much at the legs. Can't really sit back because it is "slippery" because of the leather and the slopping. Can't afford another chair so I just have to deal with it. When I can get another I will go to office depot or staples, Not Sam's because a lot of their stuff is overrated.

I purchased this chair on June 30 and have nothing to report but regret. The first issue I noticed was that the chair would randomly unlock from the upright position. So I would be minding my business, then suddenly go flying backward. About two weeks ago, it started to squeak every time I would sit down or shift in the chair. Today, I've found that one of the seams in the seat is coming apart. In the time I've had this chair, I've only had to work from home for two weeks, and I am 80 lbs BELOW the weight limit on the chair. There is no excuse for this poor quality!

Stapler pins tear at the top part of the chair. Injured by finger while moving the chair. The seat is made of fake cheep quality material. Will not recommend this to anyone. The chair is 1.5 years old and rarely used. I weigh 165lbs and the worst purchase made at samsclub.

I've only had this chair for a couple months before the stitching started coming apart. It was small at first so could live with it. It's getting worse so I need to figure out how to return this now. I weight 130 pounds. There is no reason this should break so easily. I wish I checked the reviews before buying.

When I bought this chair I was working at home 4-5 hours a week and it was great. Now I’m working at home almost exclusively and the contoured seat is killing me and my tailbone. I even bought a cushion to help with this to no avail. I ordered a new chair without this contoured seat at as I think it puts too much pressure on your tailbone or at least for me. It’s a nice chair otherwise.
