I have had this chair roughly 1 year and it is ruined. The cushions and pleather are great but the chair's structural design and quality is terrible. The lower hinge where the lift shock and chair bottom meets is warped, leaning to one side and has a fair amount of play in it. The seat back is held to the seat bottom via the arm rest. The structure points inside of my seat back have broken or warped somehow to the point my chair is practically in a permanent reclined position.

I've had this chair for almost 2 years. Initially, I liked it very much but I soon discovered the shortcomings it has for big guys like me (300 lbs.). First, the padding in the seat is not enough for me. Second, after almost 2 years, the screws in the arms that hold the back in place began to pull loose. I tried to snug them up with a nut driver (10mm), but they are stripped and I'm now afraid to use the chair. The back might pull loose and cause me to fall and get hurt. If you are a smaller person, this chair might work ok for you, but if you are like me, be smarter than I was and choose a chair that can support your weight.

I've gotten this chair before but left it behind when we moved states. Ordered a new one, just in brown (other one was black and we loved it) this one came and the leather was dirty, the holes are drilled wrong, theres a gap between the two seats when put together. Overall it is still comfortable but it looks cheap and I was disappointed because I have the exact same chair at my other house that looks so different in comparison so beware.

The chair looks good and comfortable. But the quality control is very inconsistent/bad. I bought one for me and one for wife. On both chairs, the gas lift will go down a few mm/cm as you sit on it. In mine but the gas lift didn't stayed in position. It'll randomly go down during the day. The customer care number is useless. No one ever picks-up the phone, if I opt for call-back, no one ever calls back. No one responds to email as well. After trying reaching them multiple times, I returned it to store and got a new one 2-3 weeks back. With the new one, the upholstery stitching on seat and back is loose to begin with. The leather is wrinkling as if its been in use for years. The gas lift seemed to staying uptil now but I felt it lowering on its own today. Called customer care, with same non-response as earlier.

Seemed like a great chair at first! Would have given 5 stars. Now, not even 6 months after buying it the leather is peeling off and under where my daughter sits (mind you she’s 8 and only maybe 60 pounds) the seam came apart. It’s not complete junk in less than a year and I wasted $100.

I am 6', 200lb average build man. I feel comfortable sitting on a normal size chair. This chair is good if you're a robot who sits at a perfect 90 degree angle. Chair feels extremely stiff. Space you have to sit feels like I'm sitting on the edge of the chair. Comfort is similar to siting on wooden swing. Chair was easy 20 minute installation. Chair feels sturdy but if you plan on relaxing, leaning back and enjoy a movie take a pass on this Flintstone rock of a Chair. Ergonomics is not what they had in mind when they designed this Chair. Kids are already calling this grandpa Chair, smh...

My wife and I both ended up working from home. We had already bought one of these chairs for our home computer that my son was using for Virtual learning. We now have three of these, they are comfortable and I am happy to spend my entire work day in mine.

The chair is comfortable enough, but creaks and pops so much you can't move without this happening (I'm only 170lbs also). If you sit in this thing for several hours a day for work as I do, it starts to drive you nuts. I'm getting rid of it, and chalking it up to a poor purchase and will look for a more reliable chair elsewhere.

I bought this chair for my home office and it's less than 2 years old. The faux leather on the arms has been peeling for months. Now I've realized part of the seat cushion has collapsed and causing me to lean to the left while sitting, which leading to back pain. Disappointed in the chair's durability. Would not buy again.

I bought the chair on the Sam’s app and picked it up in the store, got home to start putting together and the 5 casters were missing, not sure what the protocol is but I am currently on hold with the manufacturer True Innovations to try to get them to ship me the missing parts immediately, otherwise I’m probably going to return the chair back to Sam’s. It’s obvious it’s not Sam’s fault they received an item from their vendor with missing parts.
