Side sleeper finds bed of dreams

I was surprised when I found out adjustable beds were air beds. Don't know how I assumed firmness adjustability would be achieved without variable air pressure, but I was sorta shocked when I visited retail stores and saw adjustable king mattress pricing ranging from $2400-12,000. I saw there were online retailers offering lower prices and direct shipping, but I still wasn't compelled to spend over $2K on an adjustable air bed. Then I found this model. I soon realized it was made by Innomax, and yes, came with the least amount of foam padding between the air bladders and damask cover. So I did the math - figured I could get my own 3" foam/gel topper, stick that on top of the mattress, and rock a $2K+ air bed for much less. And that's exactly what I did. I set it up in 25 minutes, and found my firmness number in just a few nights. It's the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had, really. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Major disappointment

Ordered the bed on a weekend and received it quickly. When we unpacked the air chambers, we noticed that one of them had mold discoloration all over it - of fair concern given this was supposed to be a new bed. Nevertheless, we assembled it and planned to call in the morning when customer service was open. Found out overnight that one side would not stay inflated. It was also hard to set a firmness level as the number seemed to jump around. The remotes did not seem to be as responsive or consistent as we expected. Customer service seems to be more of a storefront or answering than an actual business - not overly impressed with their service. This bed is going back!

This is a great purchase!

My spring mattress needed to be replaced and my New bride of 6 months wanted an adjustable air mattress like she has had in the past. I did my research on this item, even went to the block and mortar store of the Big Name Brand and tested out their mattresses. I'm extremely happy with this mattress, but more important, my wife who has had the BIG Name Brand mattress before states this one is great and she cant tell the difference.. No more back pain for her and that makes me happy Also, this one saved us over 60 percent. The Customer service is great. The day after I placed my order online a company rep. called and thanked us for our order. Within 5 days the two boxes arrived in great condition. The following day the rep. called again and asked if we received all item and if he could help in any way. WOW.. I'm very impressed. Order it ! It's easy to put together, no odor, no transition that I can feel between the two sections. In short, this was a great purchase.

Great Mattress!

I am a 59 yr. female and assembled this bed in less than 1 hr. It is a quality air mattress! It is not 3" short as stated in some reviews and you can sit on the edge of the bed. You have to first lay down the mattress cover, then the head & foot rails then the side rails, then the air chambers, foam cushion and zip it up. Then I inflated the bed. My husband & I never had such a restful sleep! We actually woke up and felt refreshed! On the highest setting, it offers great back support. There is no hammock effect or ridge in the middle. We love it. I can not say enough good about this mattress.

Bad decision

We bought this bed based on the other reviews. Buying this bed was the worst decision I could have made. The quality is not good at all, its nothing more than an overly priced air mattress. One side of the bed has to be readjusted everynight, due to losing air. The controllers have radical readings while making adjustments. The cheap foam thats provided is the same as shipping foam, really for the price it should have been top quality. I would not recommend this bed to anyone.

Great Quality and Value

I researched air mattresses extensively before purchasing this from Sam's, and was confident I was getting the best bed for the money. After receiving it, setting it up, and sleeping on it, I am convinced I made the best choice. This bed is made of high-quality components, and was easy to assemble. As others have noted, it emits a strong manufacturing smell, so you should air it out for at least half a day before planning to sleep on it. One reason for the smell is that all the parts are vacuum-wrapped in plastic bags so that it all fits into the primary shipping box. So, all of the manufacturing fumes are essentially trapped inside airtight bags until you cut them open. One observation I'd like to share for anyone considering an air mattress: As I researched, I was torn between the different tiers of this bed (9” thick, up to 15” thick). What I found is the Innomax mattresses all use the same 6" thick air bladders. As you upgrade mattress thickness (and price), you get thicker ‘comfort layers' which set atop these bladders. So, the more additional cushioning you prefer, the more you'll need to pay. It's important that any first-timers realize these air bladders are not as squishy as ‘camping' mattresses. Because of the inner bladder design, and material the bladders are made of, the surface lacks the soft, stretchy feel of your typical camping air mattress. This is an important consideration when deciding how much comfort layer you are willing to pay for. I assumed the bladders would have as much flex as the temporary camping mattress I was using (which, incidentally, was inflated as firmly as I could get it.) But I found the Innomax bladder surface to be more stable/rigid when fully inflated. This mattress gets very firm, if needed. Highly recommended!

Quality Product!

I was skeptical that the product was going to be of good quality as the price was low in comparison to similar products on the market. But after reading all the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I bought a king size and the quality is amazing. I had purchased a select comfort many years ago when they first were introduced and this is of comparable quality and performance. Air beds are the only beds that I seem to get a good nights sleep on but they've gotten so expensive that I haven't had one in a while. I'm so thankful for this vendor.

Great value

Sorry we have wasted over $6K in the past five years trying to get a mattress that's comfortable and doesn't leave you worn out or with more aches and pains than when you went to bed the night before. We tried the big name foam product - the one that has the young lady jumping up and down with the glass of wine on the mattress. I don't know what that has to do with getting a good night's sleep because we never did. We also went through two supposedly top quality inner spring box mattresses one of which the manufacturer admitted was bad and reufnded our money. My son recommneded this product and my wife and I decided to give it a try. What a difference!! My wife's neck isn't stiff and neither is my back and shoulder. Would recommend this product to anyone.

Best Air Bed for Comfort & Value

I waited 7 years to write this review to ensure that what I wanted to say 7 years ago is still valid today. My Premium Dual Digital Sleep 4 EuroStyle Air Bed is the 3rd air bed I've had over the years, and by far, the best - and that includes 1 name brand sleep number bed which always requires adding air to maintain my "number." From the beginning the Sleep 4 seemed sturdier and better built. It's a fairly firm feel but with an added 2 1/2 inch memory foam pad the two together make it the most comfortable air bed I've ever had (save your money, don't buy a "pillow topped" mattress, just add a separate foam pad). The components are air tight - I have never had to add air due to slow leakage (unlike my sleep # bed) in 7 years. Probably best of all is the price which clearly makes it an excellent value compared to the other air beds.

Fantastic Bed At A Great Price

I'm tempted to rate this bed five stars, however, I've only had it for 10 days, so I'm going to stay conservative at four stars. Since I did a lot of research and found the reviews on this page valuable, I'm going to provide as much detail as possible in hopes that it will be helpful to someone else who is thinking of buying this bed. -I purchased the King Size Princeton airbed -The bed was delivered within 3 days of purchase to my home -There were two boxes; one for the bed and one for the pump (One box was about 12”x12”, the other was approximately 3'x4') -All parts were in pristine condition -Instructions say to let the pump sit in the bedroom for 24 hours to acclimate -The bed was easy to assemble – It took about 1.5 hours to put it together -I bought a “bed bridge” which is an inexpensive foam pad that fits between the two air chambers to prevent rolling into the middle of the bed. Not sure it was needed, but it was easy to place between the chambers and zip the mattress cover up over it. -Since I specifically didn't want a pillow top bed, I purchased a “loft” or fluffy mattress pad that easily slips over the mattress and is washable. This pad was $50.00 compared to the $250.00 upcharge for a pillow top version of the bed. It adds to the overall high-end feeling of the bed. -I purchased a steel platform bedframe with 14” clearance from the frame to the floor (there are no box springs included with this bed) -I also purchased risers to raise the bedframe, so that the bed is higher -A bed skirt with an 18” drop works perfectly and there's plenty of room to store items under the bed -The pump is fairly quiet -There are two remotes that are wired, light weight and easy to use -Settings go up to 50 for a full air chamber -When you reduce the setting, the number flashes on the remote and lands on a final number after air goes out of a chamber. I think this can be confusing to some people. Truthfully, you could have a remote without numbers. Just set it until you feel comfortable. -The bed has a light, “new bed” smell, but it's not overpowering and I'm sure it will go away soon -I'm still figuring out which setting works best of me, but so far, this bed is very comfortable If you're thinking about an airbed, I highly recommend this product. It's well worth the purchase price. Hope this was helpful!
