Take it from me, a Southern California native, I know good tacos! I warmed it up in a skillet and then chopped it up into tiny pieces. Then transferred it to a baking sheet and spread the meat into a thin layer and broiled for about 5 minutes or until crispy. Don't microwave it and don't forget to broil it! It makes all the difference!!

Texture is not great

I was disappointed at how fatty they were.

I used this in tacos and on a salad so far. Both were very good. This is a great fast easy option if you don't have time to cook it yourself. Pairs very well with the queso and avocado salsa Sam's sells.

Maybe it's because I live in AZ and get real authentic Mexican food whenever I want it, but these just lacked flavor. The meat was tender and lean and shredded easily, but it didn't taste as rich as I like.

Husband bought this on a whim, because of the low carbs. It was quick and easy to fix. Really liked the taste, he is going back tomorrow to purchase some more!

While these were very tender and easy to prepare, it still wasn't worth the effort. Lots of fat and very little (if any) taste. So very bland. They are almost like cooking a pork roast with no spice of any kind. We definitely will not be buying these again. I'm surprised that Sam's carries them.

Quick and easy dinner. Dress it up with some corn tortillas and homemade pico! Yum!!
