90% of the packages have been very lean. The other 10% of the time there was a fair amount to fat to be removed. The flavor is delicious and makes great tacos.

It's good and not too salty like some products similar to this are and is a quick/easy meal. Sometimes I will even add onions and unsalted taco seasoning for a bit more flavor.

Delicious quick and easy dinner. Literally just boil for a few minutes to warm and it's ready to serve. Comes with two packages. We made tacos with one and taco bowls with the other. Great for this new mom!

The Pork Carnitas were juicy and tender.

I prefer to heat the meat up in a skillet.

I had not tried this before, however I decided after reading up on it to give it a try. I'm glad I did, this is very good.

We're not much for pre-packaged, pre-seasoned food, but this is SO good!! Seasoned well, very tender. Good value, too!

We live on the border so we were a bit hesitant about this pre-packaged version of one of our favs. Then the instructions wanted me to microwave so my skepticism increased. BUT THEY ARE GOOD. I love the bit of lime flavor in there!!! The only reason I didn't get 5 stars is because it's a bit fatty... but then again, Carnitas aren't necessarily lean anyway. All in all, I'd recommend them to everyone!

This is good when made into fajitas with some grilled peppers and onions, refried beans, cheese and sour cream. However, when I just ate it alone, there was an odd flavor to it that I could not put my finger on. It was still good, but I do not think I would have eaten nearly as much if I were just eating as a meat dish. It definitely needed to be in fajitas for us.
