Fails to clean clothes
Even with a deep wash cycle there are spots on the clothes do not get wet. The washer is not overloaded. If fact, I underload since a full load would result in clothes not getting wet or cleanThe most ineffective washer I have ever owned. Even though the washer is less that 6 months old I am going to get it replaced.

No agitator but powerful

Wash into the newer era!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received the LG WT8200CW washing machine from @influenster and @lg_canada to try and share my experience. I’ve been using it and the first thing that stands out is the size. This washer is massive. It has a 5.8 cu. ft. capacity and no traditional agitator in the middle, so there is a lot of room for larger loads. I can fit my comforter, pillows and bedding much more easily than I could with my old washer, which has made laundry days much less of a hassle. - I really like how much control you have over each wash. You can adjust things like the amount of water, use TurboWash for more heavily soiled loads, or let AI Wash choose the cycle based on what you're washing. - The washing performance has been great so far. It cleans well, and I also appreciate that it's fairly quiet while washing. - The glass lid is nice because you can actually see what's happening inside. The lid also locks once the cycle starts. I came from an older machine where the lid never locked, so that took a little getting used to, but I do like the added safety. - The LG ThinQ app is another useful feature. You can monitor the washer, get notifications and use Remote Start. One thing to know is that you have to enable Remote Start on the washer before leaving, otherwise you can't start it remotely later. It's useful once you get into the habit of doing that. - The washer is quite deep. I'm about 5'7" and sometimes have to go on my tippy toes to make sure I get everything from the bottom. That's a small tradeoff for having such a large capacity. - During the spin cycle, I do notice some vibration. It's not something that bothers me right now, but I'll be curious to see how that holds up over time. - There are also quite a few sounds and tones when the machine starts, stops or finishes. Coming from an older washer with basically none of that, it definitely takes some getting used to. I don't dislike it, but I don't necessarily love having all the extra sounds around the house either 😂 It also has a 10-year limited warranty on the Direct Drive motor, which is reassuring for a major appliance. Overall, I'm really happy with it so far. The capacity is probably my favourite part because being able to wash bulky items without struggling to fit everything inside makes a bigger difference than I expected. There are definitely some newer features to get used to coming from an older machine, but once you do, there is a lot to appreciate here.

Deep fill
Just FYI, while using the deep fill mode, just pause the washer then press the deep fill button and the deep fill light will come on, then when the desired amount of water is reached simply pause the washer and press the deep fill button so the light is off then press the pause button again to start the washer.

Great washer
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really love our new washer. It feels premium. The touch buttons are perfect. Not too sensitive and not too hard too select. I love the fact that you don't have to select the amount of water depending on the load. Small, med or large. You simply add your clothes and the washer weigh them and gage the amount of water needed. I connected it to my phone and the feature is ok. You can't turn the washer on at a distance but I understand it's for safety issue.
