I've been looking for a griddle for a while. Compared and watched videos until I finally went with known Member's Mark quality. So far this griddle has lived up to my expectations. Heats fast and makes cooking a breeze. My smash burgers turned out excellent. Making a huge stack of pancakes was easy. Seasoning the grill is very important. Take your time and do it right.

We picked up the griddle on sale for $50 off as part of Sam's Fourth of July sale. For $200 plus tax, I thought "Why not? Let's get on the griddle bandwagon." First and foremost, this thing is heavy, about 150 pounds in the box, and half of that seems to be the griddle top, which suggests to me durability. Second, as noted by others, the assembly instructions. Once I tuned into the style and orientation of the schematic drawings, the instructions were well organized and logical. There's not a whole lot of words to follow, just the graphics, the illustrations. Third, the quality of the griddle seems to be excellent. The assembled product is stable and shows a good fit and finish without any excessive gaps between the parts, or blemishes in the paint . From a cosmetic or appearance perspective, the only thing I might ask for is a "cabinet" around the lower section holding the propane tank. Yes, that feature is available on the five burner unit with the same surface area, but I was not inclined to spend double my cost for an extra burner and a cabinet. The unit does come with a good quality, well fitting cover and I think that it will serve well when the unit is not in use Finally, regarding the seasoning of the new griddle top, I watched numerous YouTube videos to get an understanding of the process and I think that my time was well spent. The griddle took the seasoning well and with a couple more coats, I should be ready to cook for my family on the Fourth. All told, this seems to be a VERY well crafted product and I am very pleased.

After reading reviews about not having good assembly instructions, I was a little hesitant on the time it would take to assemble. However the instruction was clear and simply given detail illustrations which any competent person could do. The quality and construction of the griddle is excellent for the price point. It cooks my food wonderfully, just make sure you follow the instruction on how to seasoned ( burned-in) the griddle to provide a nonstick coating.

Once assembled , this is a GREAT addition to our outdoor cooking ensemble adding flexibility and range to our menu options. My impression of the assembly instructions are that they were written by people who either hadn't put one together themselves or have done so so many times that they didn't use instructions. I'd follow the advice of other reviewers and try downloading the assembly app. It may save you much aggravation and frustration with drawings that are confusing in their angles, directions and positions from which you must work to follow them as shown.

I bought this griddle while I was shopping locally in-store. I've seasoned it and used it numerous times already. I love the way it cooks. Eggs come out good as does the food. Bacon comes out amazing... This griddle does have a front grease capture and i personally love it. It makes it easier to scrape when youre cleaning it and to empty the liner because its right there and not in the back.. Griddle is easy to clean and season. This is definitely worth buying... Its good for large families. We're a family of 6..

Very helpful. I put it together myself as a 36 y/o male. I was torn between this and the stainless steel model which is out of stock at Sams. This is perfect for my young family of 4 with the limited garage space to store in a bungalow community. I got mine on sale 2/1 for $174 + tax. Can’t beat this deal!

Haven’t cleaned and seasoned yet. Just completed pouring it together. There’s a lot of steps and I’m the neutral South Texas heat it takes a while. That said, quality of the build seems super sturdy. Looking forward to cleaning seasoning and griddling up some food.

Assembly is pretty easy, even when I put a leg on the wrong side, its easy to fix as you can't continue too far without correcting. The Griddle Top is HEAVY! That's a good thing, as it holds heat well. The functionality of the design is superb, the hard cover fold open as shelves, that are really useful when you cook. On sale for $175, it was a steal. Make sure you take a good hour+ to season the griddle surface though, it makes the world of difference. My only issue is that the front surface ofnthe griddle does not get hot enough to season, so the front strip looks silver while the rest is a nicely seasoned and shiny black

The 3D video guidance was very helpful, unfortunately the parts are not labeled but it was easy to figure out. I was able to build in on my own, the griddle is heavy so I would recommend some help with that. It’s my first griddle and I’m excited to use it.

Instructions are clear; extra parts are included... Know you will have to season the iron finishing assembly but instructions are included. I'm surprised how nice and solid it is for price. You can cook every meal on this besides those that need baked. There is more versatility to a griddle than a grill.,. Think of all the things you can't grill, add everything you can,. There's you answer. Even at the price point, you can see if you like it and sell.
