[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used other "advertised" higher protein dog food for my beagles and they have the best performance, great coats, and best overall health on Purina dog chow. I've trialed other brands for months on end, but you dog chow can not be beat for feeding hard working hounds.

I received my first puppy in december of 2008. From day one she has been on this food. I tried switching once as she eats grass more than any dog I know...atleast I thought. I tried to switch to many other brands to help her and it just went south. She got diarrhea and kept throwing up everything plus she lost her spunk! I went back to this brand and she's back to normal. Her grass eating habit is because she likes it not because of a upset stomach. Weird I know but I would recommend this dog food to everyone!

I have been buying Purina Dog Chow for many years, for every German Shepherd that I have owned. My girl that I have now is 5 years old, soon to be 6 years in August. I have trusted the Purina Brand to take care of my babies on the inside because I believe in them and I trust them totally to give my dogs the best nutrition and protein possible for a very good price. Every now and then I buy other brands of dry dog food to mix in with the Purina Dog Chow, simply to add a little variety but, the main dog food is Dog Chow or Dog Chow Natural. Keep up the really good work and, I'll keep buying Purina. 1 thing that I would like to add is, I REALLY MISS the Purina High Pro Dog Food!! I know you haven't made it for many, many years but it was a perfect fit for my "Working Dogs" of days gone by. Thank You.

I have had up to twenty dogs and i have used mostly  Purina dog chow . Because my labs digest it much easier and it seems to produce healthy results in maintaining there overall muscles , bone and internal needs  as well as their coat needs . I would like very much to receive coupons of purina dog chow to help off set the cost of feeding .my dogs. I have great faith in this product and it has kept my pets very healthy

She has never had a medical or weight (she has weighed 55 lbs. for her entire adult life) problem (we feed her according to the directions on the package), and her coat shines. She has good tooth and gum health also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this product for my 2 fur babies, Bella and Maggie, and I'm SO glad I did! They LOVE this food! I like how it's chunky and holds together well in the bag and doesn't crumble. They seem to like the crispness of it and the taste. They don't normally like dry dog food by itself (I have to mix it with canned food), but they will eat Purina Dog Chow by itself without wet canned food! Thank you for making an excellent product!

Two weeks after starting this food our dog couldn’t keep anything down. We thought something serious was wrong with his health. Hundreds of dollars later in vet bills and medication we decided to try taking him off this food and in one day our dog was back to normal. I cannot recommend this product.

It's an amazing formula for my dogs that keeps them healthy. There is always a deal available labeled on the bag that gets me the most amount of food for an outstanding price. I've been buying this food for my dogs! I'm so happy I found a food all four of my dogs love. They are healthy and all a very good weight. We experimented with different foods for awhile and I'm happy we tried this food! We buy a bag a week. We are so happy they love it so much
