[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the opportunity to purchase the Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Flex Duo™, No Preheat Air Fry & Griddle. Did I need one? No, not really. The other was just fine. But I'm glad I made the move. The Duo is the best part. Need to cook pizza for the kids but your own food at the same time? No problem. Slide in the partition and you get 2 ovens with independent temperature control and everyone can have food at the same time. The other features are great as well. I used the griddle to make burgers and they turned out great, just as good as when I make them in cast iron pan. Want to air fry? You can do that to, doesn't even need to preheat and the basket is included. Works great on frozen fries. I have a few other SmartThings items so the app nearly instantly detected the range and added it. While at home you can pretty much control the entire range, get alerts when preheat is done, range is turned off, etc. For what I assume is safety reasons you can't control the range away from home. No big deal. The installer should tell you but in case you install yourself, be sure you burn off the coating in the oven. Mine took nearly an hour at 350 degrees. Just turn your vent fan on and open a window is what the installer told me. I did both but also turned on an air purifier to further help control the smell. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Samsung Smart Freestanding Gas Range with Flex Duo Stainless Cooktop & Air Fry. I love the griddle and they fact that I can cook two different dishes at once. I love the nonstick stovetop. It does show every little spill on the stovetop. I love the air fryer, it cooks evenly. I have not had a chance to use the self cleaning feature. With the preset buttons it makes cooking easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of this review compares current features to a previous generation of this range that we owned for nine years ... - Cooktop knob heat settings are grey surrounded by dark grey (on the black stainless version of the oven) and therefore lack contrast and are difficult to see/read/set. - After setting the timer, you have to touch a different button to start it. And to stop the timer or to stop the tone upon completion of the set time, you have to touch/HOLD the timer button for 3 seconds. Why the HOLD ?!? - The storage drawer is only 3 1/8" deep, which severely limits its use for storage. In a previous generation of this range, this was a warming drawer that was 6" deep. The "warming" function has been moved to the inside of the oven. Now I have to find alternate storage for 1/2 of my pan covers - For some reason, a 3" wide space was inserted between the cooktop and the oven top, pushing the entire oven down by the same amount. This means you need to bend over further to place items in the oven as well as to see what's in the oven through the glass panels. - The upper oven is larger vertically, which means it takes longer to pre-heat. I liked the previous smaller version that would pre-heat in a jiffy and met 90% of my baking needs. What Samsung should have done is allowed the separator to be inserted in two different slots rather than only one. - Overall, I'd say "Human Factors" were less of a consideration than they should have been.

The range itself manufactured Oct. 2022 is great. However, it turns on by itself. Occasionally it will "chirp", and the bake, broil or roast function will turn on without any input. It also will flash dashes, lock itself and once quickly displayed a code number. Multiple chat sessions have provided no resolution to the problems. We won't leave the house without first turning off the breaker, afraid that it may power itself on, while away. A warranty isn't a warranty, without backup.

With no bottom heating element like the previous oven, it cook items a bit differently. Like the outside cooks way faster than internally. Probably will not cook chicken breast in this one. I followed the placement suggestions and time to cook and still the outside look perfectly done. Cut into or bite into and it is still under cooked. Warm up time is awesome, with alert to my phone great too. Just a lot to learn over with meals I was confident in with traditional oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a technology buff and this range has some wonderful features. First off, it looks nice and sleek. Matches our other appliances perfectly. I love telling google to start the oven or sometimes I just jump on the phone app. Getting it preheated while I'm downstairs or not quite home is very convenient and saves a lot of time for me. Being able to split the oven into two sections has also been great. I like cooking my main entrée and a dessert without worrying about the two mixing flavor smells or needing different cooking temps. I have a lot of my counter space back now for prepping meals, since the oven has a no-preheat air fryer feature. My wife baked some cookies with the convection feature – so yummy and perfectly baked.

we just received our new stove and are just starting to use it. i'm excited to get to know the various cooking options, but initially, i notice that the panel is hard to see because it is a black appliance and it needs a backlight on the panel to be able to more easily see the buttons. please consider engineering this in with all the black appliances, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, etc. thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range because my last one's stovetop cracked. I had a hard time finding one I like as much. I wanted a double oven but didn't like most of the new ones. This one is very nice. It has more features so it's a bit more complicated to figure out all of it's functions. However, I've enjoyed it very much so far.
