Dogs wouldn't touch it, loose poop and butt scoot

I have 2 fur babies, one eats anything and one is very picky. Neither would touch this dog food. When I mixed it with human chicken and brown rice they would eat around it. What little they did consume made their poop soft and loose thus causing them to do the "butt scoot" which they never did on their true instict brand. I was hoping for the skin and joint benefits but if they won't eat it I guess there is no benefit, so I will be returning and going back to the "other" brand

Five Star food, AWFUL bag

My dog loves this food, thrives on it. HOWEVER, the bag it's packaged in is TRULY awful, CAN'T be re-sealed like the previous packaging. Packaging is SO bad, it knocks my review down from 5 stars overall to ONE star overall, and a "do not recommend". The previous bag had zip seal closure on it to keep it fresh, NOT possible to re-seal this bag. I'll have to figure out some alternate storage to keep it from getting stale. How much could POSSIBLY been saved by eliminating the zip sea? Fifty cents, MAYBE? I'd rather pay the extra few cents for a bag that's actually USEABLE.

the companies lack of protocols for contamination

Dogs Love the food been using for seven years every flavor and just waiting for this one to be recalled like all the other one's. Just waiting for them not to be available and forced to switch brands because of the company contaminating the food. Fortunate they did not get sick or die.

Not worth the membership dues.

For the second consecutive week I attempted to buy Members Mark dog food (Lamb and Brown Rice) but it was out of stock. This is probably the 4th or 5th time this year this product has been out of stock. There are no locations within 150 miles of my location that have this. I am not going to continue to change my dogs diet due to your constant stocking issues. I buy 2 bags of this product every couple of weeks and it is one of the main products that I keep my membership for. I am going to let my membership expire if this issue is not corrected before I am due to renew my membership. I am also tired of there being more associates at the exit checking receipts than there are actual cashiers. Shopping at your stores is no longer a pleasure and definitely not worth paying annual dues for.

Horrible Packaging

The food is great quality, but the packaging has changed several times in a year, and Sam's finally settled on a horrible design. They went from a very durable yet collapsible bag that also was resealable which meant you could easily reseal the bag or even reuse it as a trash bag while cleaning, but now the bag is not resealable and it's in a very stiff plastic bag. Why would you make a massive bag of dog food not resealable? The packaging has regressed, this is not an improvement!

Good dog kibble

I'm going on to my second bag of this and will have to say I like it. The ingredients list checked out for me as I would love to feed my doggo something very close to human grade food (expensive!). These have probiotics in them which I found made this dog food different from others. I'm still a little suspicious as it's seems to good to be true for the price but we're rolling with it :)

Disappointing

i cannot recomnend. I tried this because of a 5 star rating from Dog Food Advisor. It's ok, and the dogs like it, but it seems to produce lighter colored stools that tend to be on the soft side. I show dogs for comformation. I have 6 dogs . They all lost weight on this food (vs Purina one) and they lost the shine/soft feel of their coat. I recently switched back to Purina One(lamb and rice) and have noticed a huge inprovment in their coat, more solid, darker stools, and have put proper weight back on. This was consisent among all 6 dogs! I cannot recommend this food and i have learned NOT to trust dog food advisor!

Problems with formula used in dog kibble

The kibble is too hard for dogs to digest. I tried soaking it in water. After 2 hours, it still was hard. My dog refused to eat it after a couple of days and was acting weak. I think the food cannot break down and is unable to provide the nutrients needed to support the dog's nutritional needs.

BEWARE: Contains Chicken!!!

Imagine how disappointed I was to lug 90 lbs (three bags) home for my new puppy, only to find out that the Lamb and Rice formula contains chicken meal as the second ingredient! Are you kidding me? I bought lamb and rice because my Great Pyrenees is allergic to chicken. After two trips to the vet, I finally examined the ingredients, and was shocked to see chicken! Why does it feel that as a consumer, we are constantly being taken advantage of by the market?
