My dog threw up last night what appeared to be all her food from the day and the only difference in her routine was we started a new bag of food yesterday. It is dated 01/21/2016 LN3319-191-K3. I found a boxer in the middle of the road almost dead she was so emaciated, she also has few top teeth. For the past year we have been trying different foods and she wasn't keeping on any weight. We have spent a ton on expensive foods that don't work. We finally tried the Purina One Smartblend lamb and rice and she has been gaining weight! She is holding it on and she actually poops less, less mess for me!! Love it!

We have spent loads on much more expensive "high end " brands. They did not satisfy our pups and they eventually would snub their food. Since starting them on this food they all three eat without any problems . Their coats are lovely and they are energetic and happy. Why pay more for products that don't deliver what this one does ?

When my dog turned a year old (6 months ago - 03/2012) I tried multiple adult dog food for him (he is a rat terrier). With the foods I tried, he either did not like or it made him itch very bad. Then I tried Purina One Smartblend Lamb and Rice and he loved it! He also did not itch any longer! My dogs coat looks good, his eyes are clear and shiny, he has the energy to play, and his stools are normal. This is a GREAT product and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to feed their dog the best at a good price.

I have written Purina about this issue, but the problem persists. I only buy the dog food at Sam's so I cannot speak about any other distributor. I have 2 large dogs so I buy a 40+ pound bag each month. Sometimes a newly opened bag has what appears to be moist crumbled dog food; at other times I see this when half or less of the food has been used. My heat pump/ac keeps the humidity low due to my asthma. I have decided to switch to Blue Buffalo since this problem has persisted for months, and this means I won't be buying my dog food from Sam's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the crunchy and chewy pieces make meal time a treat for my 5 dogs. they are all active breeds that burn a lot of energy playing all day and the Smartblend keeps them healthy and well fed, without gaining unnecessary weight. even my picky eaters (husky and australian shepherd/blue heeler mix) are ready for morning and evening chow times!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have five dogs total.two of them are rescues.one is a Labrador retriever who has a very sensitive stomach.we have tried several dog foods. we tried purinia one and after two days his sensitive stomach went away.normal bowel movements. now all are on purinia one and seem to be more energetic and less waste coming out the other end.

My veterinarian rec-emended the Purina One Lamb and Rice. My dog gets sick very easy but has never gotten sick with this one. It has different sized bits in it. She takes them out and sits down and eats them one at a time. It is so cute. Her coat is so shinny and soft. I really like it for her.

In fact, the oldest, Cooper, is an active Service Animal that will be 11 years old this year and this has been the only food he has been able to eat and keep down. When he was first home the breeder managed to homecook for her bunch...and upon his arrival it took almost 7 months to slowly introduce this food...and the 2 times (during Covid) when we had to change...it was awful for him. Once we got back on Purina Lamb and Rice his stomach issues settled down , then went completely away. Our middle guy has certain allergies..but not with this food!😁 And our puppy, rescued from a kill auction had terrible skin/coat issues, but after 5 months on this Purina-- his coat is luxurious and his skin is healed and clear. Thank you, Purina for making 3 spoiled Poodles and their mom VERY HAPPY!

Honestly didn't realize I was feeding him so poorly and thought because it was a brand I trusted, I believed it was good for him. Until I took the 28 Day challenge.
