My picky eater loves the taste and I love the quality. It was hard to find a good nutritious feed for small dogs that wasn’t chicken based and this feed is perfect. The kibbles are a manageable size and he loves the taste. He gets so exciting for feeding time.

I have an older Aussie Sheppard mix. He did really seem to love the taste. He normally only picks at his food and seldom eats it all at one setting. he would eat it all, every time. He also seemed to have more of a pep in his step. He is almost blind and hard of hearing. He sleeps a lot. After I started him on Purina he was more excited to go out for a walk and started jumping on the back door to let me know he was ready to come back in when I put him in the yard. His chewing on his skin also improved.

I have had 3 dogs, 2 have passed but at older ages than most. They lived an extra 5 years and was healthier on this dog food. This dog food has proved to me that it is the best things for dogs. So now my 2 year old dog will get it also and I know she may live to be 16 or older like my others did. Live a healthy, longer live with Purina.

There are less stools produced because the dogs are getting more from the consumption of this high quality product. The coats on my dogs have never been better. They look like they just got a bath because of the shine and healthy appearance. In addition my dogs love the food's flavor as they have never turned their nose up at it. I have no reason to switch food as it meets all of my and my animals needs. I only wish it was packaged in a larger bag for a more economical price because of finances and the number of animals I feed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is 9 years old. she would NEVER eat dog food, only table foods. i got a sample of purina in the mail ( i always looked for things to try on her, knowing table food wasnt good for her) when she tried it. she went nuts. but its Only the lamb and rice or chicken and rice one. i dont know what purina did differently to this food but its a Miracle!! This Food Is Good! I wont stop buying it now i know she loves it! TY Purina

Our Springer Spaniel had a ton of skin problems and no matter what we tried we just could not help him. Our vet said that it was probably an allergy to something and that food was a good place to start. The ingredients in Purina One were what he said we needed so we started to feed our boys the chicken and rice , they got better but not great then we were told to try the lamb. Well after a few bags the problems started to reverse . Now he is sore and itch free and his coat is beautiful. Long story short we will be using Purina One Lamb and Rice from now on.

No tummy troubles, plenty of energy, no allergic reactions, all round happy pets. We all feed our dogs Purina One Smart Blend lamb and rice.

We recently adopted a pet from a shelter who was a bit skittish at first. We started with the food that they had served at the shelter, but he wasn't a fan. We had been planning on switching him to a Purina food eventually, but we hadn't decided on exactly what kind. After reading about all of the different types of Purina foods and flavors, we settled on Lamb & Rice SMARTBLEND. Our dog LOVES it! Definitely recommend!

It seems no one bought this food until I started buying it my dog used to eat just purina one in the green bag but I switched my dogs to this when it first came out and my dogs have loved this food every since but now I have a very hard time finding it here in my city in NC!

I have finally found a food for my very picky Japanese Chin. They just refuse some foods , and then chow down on others, that cause diarrhea. But, as other reviewers have noted, they readily eat the lamb chunks and scatter the kibble around on the floor until they are finally hungry enough to eat that, too. But overall, this is a quality product that, although containing some of the less desirable standard ingredients, "agrees" with my dogs - in taste, as well as their digestive systems. Best one for us so far. My real question is : Can we PLEASE buy only the lamb chunks? I also feed them canned "people" carrots, peas, and beans, so adding the yummy (to them) lamb chunks only would be IDEAL!!!
