After a scary nightmare with Blue Buffalo. I started doing some research and read how good PURINA ONE SPECIAL BLEND WAS. I ran out that same evening. Came home filled their dishes. I couldn't belive how happy they were and ate. No sicknesses at all. Both shih tzu's seem so much happier. Im so glad I switched to purina one special blend! I recommend this

My dogs get so excited when anybody fills their bowl. One sits by the bowl waiting for it to be filled, one waits to be fed by hand like they're the best treats in the world, and one just digs in at the bin where we keep the food from the opened bag. who thought feeding time could be so fun!

I found out, part of the problem was a tummy issue with chicken, but that's all she would eat. I had tried beef and turkey and salmon and she wouldn't touch any of them. My vet suggested a lamb based food, which I had never tried, because our little grocery store didn't carry it. I made a trip a ross town to pick this up, and have never changed it again. She loves this food and shes never loved any other dry food. Thank you, Purina, for giving us such a nice variety of proteins for our pets.

I've met a lot of dogs, and my dog is the pickiest eater I've ever met. We've kept swtiching his dog food because after a couple days he would stop eating every other dog food we tried. We finally tried this and he actually eats it and it's been over a month! I don't need to add anything to it to get him to eat either.

But then, Our vet recommended several diet changes, including her food. Ellie Mae refused to ear.any of them after 60 days, 15% of her body weight lost, and no improvement I immediately put her back on Purina One. She lives the food and is gaining the lost weight back slowly. We will never ever try any different foods for her!

I have a 1yr old boxer name Sadie. I initially started her off on Iams smart puppy at about 1o weeks old. I noticed that she wasn't so excited at meal times. I also was having a hard time finding her brand of Iams in the local stores near me. I really didn't want to have to travel to the nearest pet store, which was miles away to get her food. They were the only ones sure to have it. I asked her vet what food would he recommend that is a good brand, healthy, and that could be found in most local grocery and pharmacy stores. He immediately suggested Purina One. He didn't hesitate, have to think about it or anything. Upon trying it the first time I thought Sadie was going to do her usual I gotta eat it to stay alive routine. To my surprise after her first sniff, she dug into that food with so much vigor and excitement. I have never seen her so excited about meal time. She obviously loves it. She loves it so much, I have to limit her feedings so that she doesn't over eat and pick up too much weight. I have noticed that she has more energy. She is more excited and aware. Her eyes are bright and shiny and so is her coat. She is a solid 59lbs at 13 months. She's very healthy. I think Purina One was a great recommendation and is a great choice. I love it for her. I thanks her veterinarian for recommending it. I suggests and recommends this food to everyone, every chance I get. Did I mention that it is reasonably priced as well? It's a win, win for us.

My dog loves the Lamb and Rice and the Chicken and rice dry formulas. He eats the little meaty pieces first then nibbles on the dry pieces through out the day. I have tried cheaper brands but his coat gets dull. With Purina One, it keeps his coat nice and shiny and healthy looking. Thank you for such a great product.

My pitbull has terrible allergies and I had done everything I could. I bought so many different foods, really expensive ones, he was on a monthly allergy shot and nothing seemed to work. Until I tried this food. It worked wonders for him. His allergies all seemed to go away. He is not on a monthly shot anymore and best of all, he LOVES this food. He is a really picky eater, and most of the foods I tried he wouldn’t like at all, until we found this one.

We’ve been buying this exact one for about 2 years and she always passes all tests at the vet with flying colors. She is always at her ideal weight and seems to have no issues digesting this food. She’s always beautiful to us but I think her coat could be shinier. That’s my only gripe with this dog food. It doesn’t have any effect on coat. That, and sometimes we get bags with too many “lamb” chunks and sometimes we get some bags with almost none. Regardless, our girl is healthy and spry. We will keep buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my honest opinion I have tried other brands and they will destroy my dogs stomach and his stool won't be as solid as what purina one helps it to be. He loves and goes crazy for the chunks of meat in his food as to say I have trained him and taught him tricks with his own food. Best overall!
