I had always looked for pricey brands and had fed grain free for over a decade because I had heard that was best. After hearing that grain free was potentially harmful, I found research on Purina dog foods. I was just floored by how my dogs were finally excited for a dry food and that it was from Purina! The price point is good, because we have seven bellies to fill, and I cannot believe how shiny and soft everyone's coats are now! I am very very pleased with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been feeding my dog Purina dry dog food for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only does my dog absolutely love the taste, but I’ve also noticed a real improvement in his coat, energy levels, and overall health.

My dog's have been eating this since they were puppies and really disappointed when the soft pieces weren't lamb flavored. I always purchase a bag of Lamb and a bag of Chicken and mix them together. To my surprise both bags had the same light colored (Chicken) soft pieces. So either you changed your product or your machines are mixing things up. I'm hoping the next one's I buy don't have the same problem . At their current age's of 14 I would hate to have to switch their food.

It comes out of the can smoothly and easily, which is also nice. Also, I can store the other half of the can in the fridge and it doesn't stink up my other foods.

I was surprised to see that it had different textures when I opened the bag, I liked that because I feel like it's something different for him to enjoy like a treat for a change. I received this dog food free to sample but my opinions are 100 percent my own.

We have 6 rescue dogs, 5 large and 1 medium. They all LOVE Purina One Lamb & Rice. We get compliments all the time for their shiny coats and healthy look. A friend recently gave us a bag of very expensive, very "high end" dog food and our dogs wouldn't eat it. They demanded their Purina One.

We have always bought Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice for our baby girl. Purina One had a sell on Lamb and Rice so we bought it since Purina Pro Plan was unavailable at our store. Our dog started to have horrible diarrhea the next day when we weren't home. And when we got home from work, our home was covered in the classic puddles of diarrhea, so it looked and smelt great(that is sarcasm). We cooked chicken and rice, put some kaopectate in it, and she had that until her poop was fairly normal (a day or two). As normal, we fed her the Purina One lamb and rice as regular food, and a few hours later she had diarrhea again (this time in the kitchen where it was easy clean up). This went on for another 2 days. Today we switched her back over to Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice and I swear to you she seems like nothing happened. I am not asking for anything but to look into it please and thank you. We live in NC and maybe there are more like that. I just dont want someone else to see their dog suffer.

After adopting a Min Pin from Craigslist we realized her history was not quite as we were lead to believe. She was thin, her coat was dull and her skin was flacky. She was itching all the time. After consulting a vet it was recommended we change her food to a lamb rice combo. It was suggested she had an allergy to corn & chicken. After 2 weeks her skin is not flacky anymore, her coat is shiney and she has filled out. She hardly itches now. Even my older dog likes the taste & she is VERY picky.
