[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to get to try this for free to review and give my honest opinion on. I have to start by saying my dog is the pickiest eater so it's really hard to find food that she will eat and not upset her sensetive tummy. I was super excited to try this because of the natural blend of ingredients meaning less irration on her tummy and a lot healthier for her. As soon as I pour it in her bowl she was all over it and I could tell she really liked it mainly because it was gone in less than a minute. Of course i thought she was just excited to get new food and would hate it later but low and behold the a whole week later and she it still inhaling it as soon as it hits her bowl. The other plus with this is her tummy issues seem to be much better she isn't as gasy and she is going out with out any issues. Lastly there are so many different flavors that I feel that if this one was so great that if she does get bored or want to try something new I feel confident that she will love it.

I have 2 dogs and one has Dilute coat color alopecia and this food has not only stopped hair loss but he has kept what he has and there is some new hair growth. My dogs beg to be fed and know exactly when it's time for meals. They prefer lamb and really like this and I wouldn't consider another brand.

I actually switched to Purina Smart Blend Lamb & Rice from Science diet light, before this challenge started. Ursella is a pit mix & Cooper is a black lab & both are rescues. They love the new food. They're full of energy & their coats have become bright & shiny. Glad I switched!

This was part of the Purina ONE 28-day challenge in which you notice your dog liking the taste, having more energy, better digestive health, healthier looking skin and coat, brighter eyes and better dental health over the course of 28 days. The packaging seemed pretty decent and informative. I didn't really notice too much in regards to what this product says should be noticeable mainly because these things already exist in our dachshunds. The number one thing that was noticeable was that they enjoyed the taste! One of our dachshunds is very picky and needs coaxing and watching to get him to eat pretty much any dry food. That was not the case with Purina ONE SmartBlend dry dog food (lamb & rice). He stuck his nose right in there and devoured it which he never does! That alone makes it a winner in my opinion. I have and will be recommending this product to friends and family and it will be a regular buy for our dogs!

I've been feeding this to my dogs for years. Recently the kibble color and size consistency has varied greatly. Also we opened a new bag in Dec. Two of the 3 dogs began refusing the food and also developed diarrhea and vomiting. We stopped the food and transitioned to a new food and they recovered. One dog was worse than the others and took him to the vet and he recommended never feeding Purina One.

I have two dogs, one with health issues and was looking for a good quality food with antioxidants and omega fatty acids and this one had what I was looking for and isn't insanely expensive. My dogs love the food and I can see a difference in my pups!

My biggest dog, a blue heeler mix, came down with colitis from possibly, raw hides. They said put him on rice and chicken, a soft diet. Then put him on no grains. So, I did all of that. He enjoys his new food and his fur, and my other dogs fur, are so soft and shiny now! They really look better and they dont have dry skin anymore.

They love the way it tastes, and especially love the little bits of chicken mixed throughout. We even use it in place of training treats, just a scoop of their dog food in the treat container, offering a piece or two for reward. They couldn’t care less that it’s not a “treat,” they love this food!

Our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, wasn't doing very well. At over 12 years old he was losing his playfulness, wasn't as alert as he used to be. We really began to worry when he didn't want to eat and started to get sick a lot. We decided to switch him over to Purina One Lamb & Rice Formula. Wow, what a difference! He stopped getting sick when he ate, he started playing fetch again and his coat looks great. The funny thing was about two weeks later my wife noticed that the bag has a picture on a Greater Swiss on the front and back, and I never even noticed! Thanks Purina One!
