I have two dogs. I switched to purina without gradually mixing it into my their old food. They both ate it all immediately. When I ran out of purina and tried giving them their regular food again, they wouldn't eat their regular food because they loved the purina so much.

I have a 25 lb mini aussie and a 5 lb yorkie/maltese and tried pedigree and the yellow sams club (chicken) brand dog foods,and this is the only one they always will eat right away. The others they would let their food sit half the day until they finally decide to eat it. basically they only eat the other brands as a last resort. I even put a cup of this on top of the sam's club chicken brand, and they ate the purina off the top and left the sam's club brand in the bowl.

My dogs love this food! I have a boxer/chow mix that eats just about anything, then I have a Jack Russell Terrier that has become very finicky when it comes to his food lately, since I've switched to Purina one not only does he eat without a problem and both there energy levels have come back to borderline puppy! They play hard all day until bedtime! I also noticed that their coats have more of a sheen to them and there's much less dander too! So very glad I took the challenge! The cat's changing food next! This was literally the only dry dog food my goldendoodle would eat. He would pick out all the dried meat pieces first, then eat the regular pieces, however, the last three bags I bought barely have any dried meat pieces. It is all mainly just regular dry dog food. Did the formula change because it used to be full of dried meet pieces? Probably will not purchase again, due to this change. It is expensive and not worth it without the real meat.

The packaging seemed pretty decent and informative. I didn't really notice too much in regards to what this product says should be noticeable mainly because these things already exist in our dachshunds. The number one thing that was noticeable was that they enjoyed the taste! One of our dachshunds is very picky and needs coaxing and watching to get him to eat pretty much any dry food. That was not the case with Purina ONE SmartBlend dry dog food (lamb & rice). He stuck his nose right in there and devoured it which he never does! That alone makes it a winner in my opinion. I have and will be recommending this product to friends and family and it will be a regular buy for our dogs!

So far so good with the Purina lamb and rice. They have eaten this longer and better than other foods we have tried.

I recieved a free sample through Smiley360 if I agreed to give my honest opinion on this dog food and I'm so glad I took the challenge. The ingredients in the smart blend are great quality, I never expected it from a bigger name dog food. I'm also happy to say that the price wasn't bad and it was easy to locate at the grocery store. Although my dog enjoys all kinds of food and doesn't have issues tolerating anything, she really seems to enjoy this food. I think it was because the bites of food had different textures and I'm sure this made it more exciting to eat. I definitely recommend this dog food.

We had our German Shepherd on a more expensive food for the first 7 months we had him as a puppy. As time went on he was less and less interested in eating and was not growing as he should have been and his digestive system was not working properly. My mom suggested we try the Purina One Lamb and Rice Smartblend and we couldn't be happier! His coat is beautiful and shiney and he put on about ten pounds in the first two weeks to get him up to a more reasonable weight. I am thrilled that is is made with real lamb as the first ingredient. We will be using this dog food for all of our future pets!
