I ordered two bags and they arrived on time however the very next day I had 2 cockroaches crawling out of a small hole right next to the crease in the bag. I took the bag out of the house immediately and dumped on my burn pile. The other bag had no holes in it so I used it.

We've spent the first 4 years of our Lab's life trying to settle on a nutritious food that insures his bowels are consistently normal. We even tried Purina probiotic powder on his previous food per our vet's recommendation, but that didn't work longterm. This food checks all of our boxes plus Sam's price is beyond competitive.

We used to buy specialty allergy-proof dog food at a chic dog food store in town. But the cost (for 2 large dogs) was getting crazy. Our vet said the lamb and rice food could be just as good. We love the fact that Sam's offers large quantity at a great price, and our dogs haven't shown any problems after switching over a year ago.

Amazing dog food. Our vet recommended this product 5 years ago, telling me it was the only dog food tested on dogs for the duration of their life. We have tried much more expensive dog food but this one is easy to find, and our 2 golden retrievers’ coats are gorgeous

Very polite. Frustrating when it comes to get it one time, then not the next. However, we count on this since we enter no store; so many people wear no masks. It should be required. The bacon never shows up. Mayonnaise is in short supply, or they know it's bad for us ... so, no mayonnaise. Are you low on pasta too?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dog food at Sam’s because it was a good deal in a large bag, but my dog wouldn’t eat it at all since she seems to hate lamb. I tried a few times to get her to eat it, but she still refused, so I ended up giving it to a coworker. Her dog loved it since he enjoys lamb, and she even switched to Purina afterward. I would recommend buying a small bag first to make sure your dog actually likes lamb before committing to a large one.

Our 11-year-old mixed breed farm dog has thrived on this dog food for a couple years. The high fat content is a real plus. Also, I avoid buying dog food that lists some kind of grain as the first ingredient, but would rather spend our money on a product that has meat as the number one ingredient.

I have been feeding dogs this specific food for years. If you are doing a price comparison, keep in mind that this bag weighs 44 lbs. The larger bag of this in big box stores is typically 40 lbs. That might not make a difference to some, but with four large dogs to feed, it does in our household.

Basic- wholesome dog food. More expensive overall for this large bag, but a better buy if you compare per pound. Our vet is always impressed with our furry-kids teeth- this dog food has different shaped pieces and does a great job cleaning his teeth.
