As a dog book author, I put a great deal of thought into dogs and the food they eat. My German Husky Dog, the subject of one of my books, has been feeling great at nearly 11 years old! Over the years, I have purchased many different types of dog food and this specific real turkey and venison blend by Purina is the best. Her coat looks better, she has more energy, and it's far easier for her to chew than her previous brand. Last but not least, she loves it! She's a picky girl when it comes to food, and she literally licks the bowl clean when she is finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently tried the Purina One True Instinct with real turkey and venison because they were out of the blend I normally feed my fur babies. My fur babies seemed to like this blend as well as their normal blend especially my Husky.

She is a diva beagle who cuddles and naps but chased rabbits as soon as we get outside. She is head first in the chewy pieces first and would probably like more, but this the only dog food she will eat.

When I say all 3 dogs LOVE this food (even though it's not for the puppy, he still tries to steal a mouthful every chance he gets) it's an understatement. It's the only brand I know of that offers such meaty morsels along with kibble. I've tried many brands and this is the brand they prefer most.

We’ve been buying this dog food for at least a year. We bought some a couple days ago and I opened the bag today. Not only does it look completely different, but it feels completely different too. The bits are normally dark and hard like jerky. This time they’re a light color, large and squishy/soggy. It seems like they’ve been rehydrated.?

Our rescue dog came with such a sensitive gut! At first I made all of her food, but she wasn’t getting enough nutrition. For years we searched for a dry food that she would eat and that wouldn’t give her loose stools. This is the first food that has worked, and she LOVES it! I hope Purina never changes the recipe!

I feed this to all my Bulldogge’s and Bullies at Bodega Bulldogge’s. It’s the only food everyone loves and no one has issues with. Thank you for a great food! I wish they made Breeder bags because I feed 110 pounds of dog food a week and it’s all purina one and purina dog chow. I spend a lot of money in this company but it’s worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been buying this for my pup he’s active and been keeping at his healthy weight and this is his favorite I’ve tried other flavors/ brands but he not too happy with others and vet says he’s healthy and doing great and he loves food so he gets only best food for him so glad I found food that’s good healthy and he loves it ☺️👍

I'm living the Purina One dry blends, we buy the True Instinct bags. I had been looking for a good food for Miss Lulu for the 2 1/2 yrs of her life but she is extremely picky. I can't get her to eat most dog foods so for a while I was making her food at home. I took the Purina challenge and from day 1 she loves to eat! I honestly couldn't believe her excitement and as soon as we give her food she eats every bite. Usually she just takes a nibble and leaves her bowl full. Not with the Purina One True Blends. She's tried 3 flavors and loves them all! She will push the bowl to us and she talks like Chewbacca to tell me she wants more. Now we have to limit her so she doesn't over eat. The biggest difference is she has so much energy now. I was really worried that she really never had any until she tried this food. Huge difference. Thank you Purina, Miss Lulu is very happy with her new food options and I'm less worried about her eating habits.
