[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our French door style frig (which I can’t stand) died, we wanted a side by side and chose this model and are glad we did. If you love ice cold drinks and milk, this is the frig for you. I thought the wouldn’t care about the craft ice maker but actually like the round ice balls. It is massive as well on both sides. Hopefully, it lasts because we love it so far.

We love most everything about the refrigerator. 1 con is you do not have but one option for moving shelves around in the fridge part, could not put the pitcher I have in it and now I have a huge section and a very tiny one that barely anything fits in. I do love the craft ice option. It is summer need to hydrate. Though the other day an issue occured where there was water in the bin and the ice was not making, could have been operator error on that one and did figure it out myself. The knock feature is super awesome!

I've had this refrigerator for a year and a half now. I love the size and the look. Everything's been working as expected except the craft ice maker stopped working. I called LG and they sent me a replacement ice maker without much hassle and included a water filter. I received the replacement the following week and it's all working again. I'm not completely convinced that the ice maker was broken though...I'm thinking that maybe if I unplugged it and "cleaned" it imaybe would have fixed the problem...nevertheless I really appreciate the ease of getting this problem resolved so quickly...zero cost out of pocket!

Fridge performs well and looks nice. It was hooked up to electric and water supply, let the fridge sit for 30 mins to ensure no drips from the supply line, then pushed back into the surrounding cabinetry enclosure. 7 days later, we noticed the floor was raised up in areas near the fridge. we pulled it out and it was spraying from the water supply connection point. a company had to come in immediately and tear everything up and put in 8 units to move air and dry it out to mitigate any mold growth. needless to say, we have to replace half our subfloor, which means the top layer as well. during this process, we disconnected and reconnected the line 5 times to see if we could make it not leak. tried new fittings and gaskets 3 of those times. always leaks. it seems the housing you thread onto was very cheap and thin. i believe it has a crack in its own threads. It wasnt over torqued at initial install. Maybe the simple pressure/resistance from the supply line as it was pushed into place stressed it. its 2 months exactly from the date of purchase. i still need to get with LG to see if they will warranty or cover any of this. ive been dealing with the insurance claim and living in a house that has a kitchen with no floor. contractors finally started this week (good luck finding contractors to do a job immediately!). i try to stick with LG with most appliances, tvs, etc.. ill find out how good their customer service is this week. back to the rating. 3 stars because of the appearance and craft ice. it does have cheap thin "stainless" on it. already has 2 slight dings on the bottom front due to having to get so many air movers and dehumidifiers around it. got bumped by one and that happened. shouldn't have dented due to that. so, yeah, cheaply made, i bought an LG stove the same day and hope it is better built. ill find out when i have a kitchen again and get to use it.. im very disappointed and hope i can get this figured out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this without me. I wasn’t sure I would like it but after having it for awhile I love it. It’s so big and roomy! I love the Craft ice balls. They last a lot longer then regular size ice cubes. I live in Arizona so having cold drinks is important. I use the air fryer in the oven a lot so it doesn’t heat up the kitchen. We are getting new cabinets in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait to see it all come together!

We are extremely pleased with our LG side-by-side “Instaview” refrigerator w/bottom freezer purchased a few months ago. Our favorite features are the ice cubes: slow melting ice craft, regular and crushed, as well as the knock twice to view contents of the frig. It’s such a sleek, flat feature, and it performs very well. I could not ask for a more reliable electronic in my kitchen. Thanks LG!

I bought this about a mouth ago and its a great fridge. love the craft ice maker and the easy access door on the front which allows me to grab drinks or other things without letting too much of a cold air out and I love that the handles are inward instead of sticking out to save room.

More space in freezer than the more expensive models. Had small issue, but their services man fixed it up with no hassle or questions. Overall great value.

Love the refrigerator with the freezer on one side and edge to edge Instaview for easy view inside with out opening the door. This refrigerator makes my house look even more modern. Especially when I serving more then one guess and need extra ice with the dual ice maker with craft ice give plenty and plus the draft round ice makes it look really cool.

Of all the refrigerators I have owned and used in my life, this one is the absolute worst! I’ve never required more service calls on a refrigerator in my entire life. Between both ice makers breaking down in under two years and being told by service mechanics that LG manufactured improperly tested and knowingly faulty products and sold them to customers is despicable! On top of that, the requirement to UNPLUG the product to reset it is most difficult for a disabled veteran or any customer with physical limitations. LG manufacturers computers with on/off switches yet they put a computer in a refrigerator and force customers to deal with their negligence. WHAT A HORRIBLE DECISION! I’ve had refrigerators 20 plus years that function perfectly without any issues. I still have a refrigerator over 24 years old that works perfectly in my garage. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER LG PRODUCT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! Nor will I ever recommend a LG product to anyone, ever!
