We are extremely pleased with our LG side-by-side “Instaview” refrigerator w/bottom freezer purchased a few months ago. Our favorite features are the ice cubes: slow melting ice craft, regular and crushed, as well as the knock twice to view contents of the frig. It’s such a sleek, flat feature, and it performs very well. I could not ask for a more reliable electronic in my kitchen. Thanks LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't buy a Frig that doesn't have the new linear compressor. It's the quietest, most energy saving thing! I don't know why LG doesn't tout this improvement in refrigeration. Also - I love the side-by-side. I couldn't stand the little flap thing on my old frig that goes over when you close the left door. This has tons of room and the knock twice light-on feature is very cool. I can monitor everything from my phone app too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my new refrigerator. Having the side by side makes accessing the freezer and refrigerator equally convenient. I like that the ice maker is in the freezer and no more issues with it sitting in the refrigerator side and taking up room.

I have only had this refrigerator a few weeks but it is exactly what I wanted ! My only cons are the water doesn’t come out very cold at all.I’m not sure if thi is normal but it’s seems like it should be extremely cold since it comes from the freezer side of the fridge.The ice and water dispenser makes a mess and it doesn’t have a drip pan/tray to catch excess water and ice.

I've had this refrigerator for a year and a half now. I love the size and the look. Everything's been working as expected except the craft ice maker stopped working. I called LG and they sent me a replacement ice maker without much hassle and included a water filter. I received the replacement the following week and it's all working again. I'm not completely convinced that the ice maker was broken though...I'm thinking that maybe if I unplugged it and "cleaned" it imaybe would have fixed the problem...nevertheless I really appreciate the ease of getting this problem resolved so quickly...zero cost out of pocket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this fridge, the only dislike (which is why it only gets 4 stars) is the lack of/bad placement of “handles”. They are too low, seems they could have incorporated an actual handle on the face, as to not have the “handles” below the glass and dispenser. Inside is nice, although there’s only an option for top shelf to be moved up or down, the other shelves are permanent. The drawers at the bottom, handle placement could have been better. The lip to open is at the bottom of each drawer which isn’t bad for the top one. the bottom one is at the very bottom, not easily accessible.other than the handle issues I personally have, it’s a great fridge. Our new LG Fridge has been operational for almost 3 months. It is a great refrigerator and we thoroughly enjoy its features, quality and look. Our only challenge is that we cannot the taste of the water and ice to not taste metallic and like medicine. We performed the flushing and cleaning as the owners manual and the website presented, We have not been able to resolve this matter. Otherwise, a great refrigerator and we expect for it to work as wonderfully as our other LG applicances and electronics throughout our home. Thank you,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a little less then a month ago, love the space!! The knock feature was cool at first but kind of pointless if you ask me. Also don’t like that there is no “ deli drawer “. Love that I can put a gallon of milk in the door shelf.
