Great refrigerator for larger families!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about the refrigerator from how spacious and accessible both the fridge and freezer are, how quickly and consistently it gets to the set temps, and how quiet it runs. The only downfall is how small the ice compartment is. My family loves to randomly eat ice. The ice maker and storage of ice is just way too small for our family.

I don't really see a reason for the special sphere
It was a good price but took forever to be delivered. It has the app that is great if I want to make sure it is at temp, it doesn't track power usage unless I live in an area the power company has special equipment. It doesn't have handles and a review I read he said it was hard for him but he was like 6'4" and could grab it from the top but the top doesn't have a grip. The handled is the opening in the middle and it is low on the fridge. It doesn't have that much freezer space as it has two icemakers. I don't really see a reason for the special sphere shaped ice except to say, "I have ice balls". I wouldn't buy it again no matter the savings that I got.
Bad Craft Ice Maker
After only one year old and the ice craft ice maker went out. Fortunately LG did send me a new and replaced it very quickly. They also said they would give me two new filters but they never arrived. Afterwards I went online and found out the craft ice maker is a common problem.

Ice makers
Ice makers. I purchased my side by side refrigerator in April or May 2022. Since then I have had to replace both the craft and indoor ice makers. They stopped working for no reason. LG kindly replaced the craft ice maker at no charge, but I am on my third replacement part for the indoor ice maker hoping encompass got it right this time. The first part would not fit into the door and the second part was completely wrong.

Terrible purchase
This is one of the worst purchases I've ever made in life! I've only had the refrigerator for a year and have done about 8 maintenance requests. Can never get anyone on the phone who speaks clear English and LG keeps giving me the runaround. I have to unplug my refrigerator every two weeks and let it manually defrost so that it can produce ice and cool properly!

Premature Failure
Compressor failed at the 4 year mark. Warranty work has so far taken more than a month to get resolved. The craft ice maker also regularly froze up when it was working. Buyer beware.

Ice freezes up and does not dispense
Purchased refrigerator less than a year ago. Ice dispenser freezes up and no ice will dispense. Repair person came twice and said it can’t be fixed. Seeking a solution from LG. Very disappointed. I would never buy this refrigerator if I knew it had these problems. Buyer beware!

Never again
We purchased an LG refrigerator and have had various problems with it since the beginning. That, coupled with the lack of warranty response on the part of LG, has convinced me to never purchase another LG product of any kind. If it says LG, I'll pass right on by.

Horrible product/service.
I will NEVER purchase an LG product again and encourage others to do the same. Compressor stopped after 5 years. Waited TWO MONTHS to get something done. No one to repair fridge (couldn’t locate a repairman the could service). Years ago I purchased a front end loader washer. Panel would falter every other month. The dryer was great. ZERO stars

Broken
This refrigerator was pricey. It's been broken (does not cool, fridge or freezer) for about a month. It's reported to me this is still under warranty, however it's been three weeks with out a dispatched service tech. Meanwhile, I don't have a refrigerator and and spending ungodly amounts on groceries!
