[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed the ice makers and the ability to check on the device with my phone. I do wish I could buy another drawer to insert. We had to improvise with some cheap options. I also wish the filter lasted longer.

It is on the right side when you open the fridge and if you are not careful you can accidentally hit the settings and screw the thing up, such as stopping the craft ice maker from working. And when this ice maker is working it makes this horrible loud noise before "dropping" the ice into the tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used the refrigerator for a couple of months I am so pleased with the space, design, and total performance of LGs refrigerator. With the double door design the ice maker is in the freezer section which makes logical sense but my previous refrigerator (US brand) the ice maker was in the cooling section making ithe ice maker subject to failure, excess lowering of temperature in the cooling section to make ice, etc. Not only this design but also the LG simplistic design in both sections of the two door fringe slows excellent lighting, allows easy storage, easy inventory verification etc. The outside design is a plus as well. The special craft ice maker is another wow for this machine. LG must have had the right designers on this piece of equipment. Hooray!!!

I love my fridge. I’ve had it just a little over a year. My craft ice stopped working five months after buying it. It broke again six months later. I’m wondering if I should expect it to break down again. If it breaks down again within this year sorry it’s gone. I drink a lot of whiskey and craft ice maker was the seller for me.

I bought this refrigerator during a floor model sale, solely based on cost. I had been looking for a bottom freezer and hadn't even considered a side-by-side, but I've had it installed for a month and I've been impressed. It has way more space than the other fridge's I was looking at, and the freezer shelves are much easier to organize than one deep chest drawer.

Of all the refrigerators I have owned and used in my life, this one is the absolute worst! I’ve never required more service calls on a refrigerator in my entire life. Between both ice makers breaking down in under two years and being told by service mechanics that LG manufactured improperly tested and knowingly faulty products and sold them to customers is despicable! On top of that, the requirement to UNPLUG the product to reset it is most difficult for a disabled veteran or any customer with physical limitations. LG manufacturers computers with on/off switches yet they put a computer in a refrigerator and force customers to deal with their negligence. WHAT A HORRIBLE DECISION! I’ve had refrigerators 20 plus years that function perfectly without any issues. I still have a refrigerator over 24 years old that works perfectly in my garage. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER LG PRODUCT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! Nor will I ever recommend a LG product to anyone, ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is perfect!!! I love the style, being able to knock on the door and the light go on to view what’s inside. The selling point was the ice!! It makes 6 every 24 hours, so I can share with my friends!! It’s awesome!

I bought this fridge about 2 weeks ago and I am pretty much in love. It has so much space, the craft ice is so cool and I love the outer door that you can peek though. The only negatives I would say was I do kind of miss handles on the doors, sometimes it slams a little harder than I would like. But that is about it.

I was looking to replace my contractor grade appliances and chose the LG side by side. It's the difference between night and day. You can't even hear it run. I really like the craft ice and ice in door with the UV disinfection of the ice/water dispenser.

And we are a family of 5 and all our boys Love the three ice cub shapes for different drink options. We unanimously decided that this has been our favorite refrigerator so far.
