Our new LG Fridge has been operational for almost 3 months. It is a great refrigerator and we thoroughly enjoy its features, quality and look. Our only challenge is that we cannot the taste of the water and ice to not taste metallic and like medicine. We performed the flushing and cleaning as the owners manual and the website presented, We have not been able to resolve this matter. Otherwise, a great refrigerator and we expect for it to work as wonderfully as our other LG applicances and electronics throughout our home. Thank you,

I had my new custom cabinetry custom made based on LG specs. We found the LG fridge is bulging on the sides. LG tech and “engineers” declared it to be shipping damage. Hence…….. I am screwed. PEOPLE, check out any other brand BEFORE you buy this factory defect LG product. I had to pay the cabinet craftsman to widen the opening to fit the defective fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model came with a house we bought, and while it's lovely to look at, we find that getting it open is difficult and that because there is no "grab bar" to pull open the doors, we get the front of the fridge dirty with our fingerprints and smudges. Also, a side by side design is difficult to access if you have wide shoulders.

We have enjoyed being able to knock on the door to see if there is anything we want out of the fridge before we open the door. It cools everything evenly and at the perfect temperature. I am super happy with this purchase!!

I bought this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago. I like how the space is laid inside and how good it looks. You got 2 ice makers and a lot of space. The instaview feature is a nice and handy add. If you buy it I recommend to use the LG app ThinQ to get the best experience. Now there are things that can improve; 1. The top shelf in the refrigerator side was really difficult and scary to remove (glass) (and yes I read and follow the instructions.) All other shelf's work fine. 2. In the ThinQ app you can control the craft ice maker but can't do the same for the door ice maker. It will be great to have this in the app to. 3. It will be great to have an actual freezer and refrigerator temperature reading in the app. 4. You can only program 1 wifi connection for this refrigerator. If you try to program a new connection the last one is erased.

It's a refridgerator. The "window in the door" is an absolutely useless feature, all it does is gather fingerprints and entertain the grandchildren when they tap on it to make the inside light up. If you put anyting on the shelves on the door, which obviously you're going to, you can't see past that stuff anyway. I didn't buy the fridge for that feature, but wouldn't recommend it if I had. The ice maker on the door quit working about 2 months in, and the hassle we had to go through in order to schedule a technician guaranteed that I will NEVER purchase another LG appliance ever again.

It has a dual ice maker and the knock on the see thru glass which allows you to see inside without opening the door. I also love the app which allows you to control temperature and ice making function. This is a great buy and I would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Have had really bad luck with refrigerators and their ice makers/dispensers but this model is perfect. Also the storage design for both sides is so much better than others that we've had. What we really like is the see-through door... keeps the grand-kids busy!

Bought this a month ago and broken out of the box. Fridge side doesn't cool to safe temperatures and the LCD disply is broken. After 2 dozen phone calls to India/Malaysia/Pakistan there might be a remote possibility of a refund, but that still remains to be seen. Used to be a big LG fan and have multiple other LG appliances, but because of the hassle I may consider other brands.
