I've had this refrigerator for a year and a half now. I love the size and the look. Everything's been working as expected except the craft ice maker stopped working. I called LG and they sent me a replacement ice maker without much hassle and included a water filter. I received the replacement the following week and it's all working again. I'm not completely convinced that the ice maker was broken though...I'm thinking that maybe if I unplugged it and "cleaned" it imaybe would have fixed the problem...nevertheless I really appreciate the ease of getting this problem resolved so quickly...zero cost out of pocket!

Bought this fridge for the nano UV water dispenser in the door. It also shows the inside when you knock on the door. But the truly nice features of adjustable shelves, egg and meat trays, are missing on this model. For us it was worth getting a UV dispenser and craft ice. But I do miss having adjustable shelves.

Well I've had the fridge almost a month now and it is a great addition to my kitchen. I love the craft ice although it does take a while for it to make. The regular ice maker seems to have a hard time keeping up with demand but it has been quite hot lately so demand has been high. Also like the black stainless steel because magnets don't stick to it . Lots of room inside and the water filter is a snap to change out. Still trying to get used to not having protruding handles on the doors but these things take time. All in all I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our French door style frig (which I can’t stand) died, we wanted a side by side and chose this model and are glad we did. If you love ice cold drinks and milk, this is the frig for you. I thought the wouldn’t care about the craft ice maker but actually like the round ice balls. It is massive as well on both sides. Hopefully, it lasts because we love it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model came with a house we bought, and while it's lovely to look at, we find that getting it open is difficult and that because there is no "grab bar" to pull open the doors, we get the front of the fridge dirty with our fingerprints and smudges. Also, a side by side design is difficult to access if you have wide shoulders.

I got this fridge in January and now in September I have had the LG repair man to my house 4 times and the problem is still not resolved. The freezer works well, and I like the layout and the 2 ice makers, but the refrigerator will not stay cold, it remains at about 40-45 degrees.

It has now been a month since I bought this refrigerator and I love it. Very spacious and I love the large layout and multiple shelves in both the refrigerator and freezer. The instaview is a nice to have but definitely not necessary however I do like the look of it with the black instaview window on the stainless steel. Personally I don’t see the point of knocking on the door to see inside before opening. The way to open the doors takes getting use to. I am accustomed to handles of course. Great purchase and would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't buy a Frig that doesn't have the new linear compressor. It's the quietest, most energy saving thing! I don't know why LG doesn't tout this improvement in refrigeration. Also - I love the side-by-side. I couldn't stand the little flap thing on my old frig that goes over when you close the left door. This has tons of room and the knock twice light-on feature is very cool. I can monitor everything from my phone app too.

I have had my new gorgeous fridge for a few weeks now so I’m still getting to know it lol . I still miss my deli draw but made it happen with containers on one of the shelves , so I can make anything work and move on but when you get water it does seem to drip and leave a water mark which is no big deal I wipe it but for some it might be a deal breaker . The craft ice is a huge winner for me I even put it in my glass of water -some have said it’s loud when making the ice but I get excited I have new ones waiting for me ! so far I like the shelving and drawers waiting on my first holiday to really test it’s abilities , the door shelves are deep and hold a lot which gives me more space on the inside shelves . So far very happy with my new fridge .

Bought this refrigerator because I had the washer machine and dryer which is very good. The craft ice maker went out in less than 6 months had to have it repaired. The repair guy told me this is a persistent problem and it's a design flaw if I knew this before hand I would have not purchased so disappointed.
