[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My puppy really enjoyed his sample of Purina Beneful healthy weight dry dog food, my puppy really isn't a puppy we just call him puppy because he is small but overweight which makes him look like a puppy and the vet had told us before he needed to go on a diet but all the food we saw was just too much for our pocketbooks, however with trying out Purina Beneful healthy weight we found this to be a price we can afford and a food our puppy seems to enjoy ! It's a win win for us !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was told my 7 year old King Charles needed to lose a few pounds I knew I was in for a long process of finding a low fat food. I started trying different brands and she would not eat. She lost the weight from not eating anything that I tried. By the time I tried Beneful Healthy Weight I was getting desperate. I put it in her bowl and she gobbled it down. I was sure it was because she was starving, but she has continued to love this food.

Your Purina DRY dog food was the quintessential dog food for my Golden Retriever Sandi, Sandra Cheyenne Winchester Spratley until she passed away at 14 years of age. I now have another Golden retriever, Bella, who also enjoys Purina DRY dog food. Dont get me wrong, we definitely add some great fixins into the Beneful dog food. if we have salmon or broccoli etc. she gets her share, and rightfully so. In the past and I emphasize in the past we have tried many "very ECo, nutritional, pure, foods for dogs BUT my girls have and do love Beneful dry dog food. Thanks Purina for helping to make my dogs life more special.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our dog was younger she would put on weight easily. We managed to get that under control by switching to Beneful Healthy Weight. Now that she an older dog she can afford to put on weight but she lives this food so much we can’t switch. So we supplement now with some high protein wet food.

Our Chesapeake Bay Retriever was scratching A LOT and losing his hair. Our Vet had also said that he was overweight. We had tried several dog foods. When I asked my sister what she fed her two dogs, she stated that she fed the one dog Beneful Healthy Weight. We tried a bag and the results were wonderful. Within a week, he was no longer scratching constantly. It has been two months and he now has a soft, glossy coat and is very satisfied. So are we!!!!

However, when I opened the bag of dog food there were huge chunks of food clumped together that seem burnt and have mold covering it. It looks very unpleasant. I want to feel comfortable providing my dogs with food that isn't spoiled and is safe. This is my first time using this brand and I can say I won't be using it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be 13 in January 2024 and I have been eating Beneful puppy and Beneful Healthy Weight Chicken all my life. I have a cup in the morning and a cup at night. Along with with the dry food I get half a container of Beneful wet food with each meal. I like the wet salmon the best. I get so excited when I see a new bag of food come in the house and I like to go through the grocery bags to see if I got more wet food. I am very healthy and my doctor or vet says I am doing great for my age. I may not run and play all day now but I do have my active spurts through the day and I still like to go for my walks. But my two favorite times of the day are breakfast and dinner. My pup loves this food and we were lucky to find a dog food that she enjoys everyday and looks forward to her meals. She must eat by the clock since she knows when it is 7:30am and 4:30pm everyday. If the meal is not ready she will voice her opinion or hit you with her paw. As soon as she eats she is then perfectly content again. Thank you Purina for making this food that has made her life healthy and long. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been feeding our pups the Beneful healthy weight food for years. We have two yorkies and our daughters each have a yorkie. When they come to visit their dogs sprint to the dog bowls in the kitchen to gobble up the food in the bowl. It is so funny they don’t stop at the door, they run right past us to go to the kitchen.
