We have two 12 year old lab mixes and they love the Healthy Weight chicken food. They lick the bowls and I don't have coax one of them to finish her food. They both need to lose a few pounds so I'll be monitoring their weight. They don't seem to shed as much.

This dog food satisfies all their needs. I have never had a problem feeding it to my dogs. I have had at least 8 dogs that are healthy weight Beneful.

My dog couldn't resist a bag of beneful it gave him the energy he needed to stay active n complete his workouts I had him on he would pull sleds and run lots of miles a week he was a big healthy dog with shiny coat n was always getting compliments from other people and was always energizes I would recommend this produceto all animal lovers that care for there dogs. Something changed with this dog food. My dogs have been on this Beneful Healthy Weight food for 2 years. However, the last 2 bags, they don't eat all of the food. They pick out some of the food, put it on the floor and then eat the pieces they want. Neither dog is picky and usually eat all of the food in their bowl. Now I can't get them to eat all of it. Going to try something else.

My youngest puppy Viok loves it dry, but senior dog Max likes when I add a little water to it so it's like a gravy! He licks his bowl clean and then goes and licks Violet's bowl clean! They love it! My dog ate Beneful Healthy Weight for 14 years. She was a Shepard mix and weighed about 65 pounds. She lived longer than all my large dog breeds before her. I like feeding the healthy weight food so I can give more healthy treats and balance the caloric intake.

I have been buying this product for years for an 80lb lab and a 60lb mutt. It has been great up until the last 6 months. Nothing has changed in my home or with their food and in the last 6 months they have developed itchy skin horribly. The last 2 weeks I have decreased the amount of dry food and supplemented with natural food and they are not itching as badly.

Our Fox Red is a hard worker who needs to stay busy while our Black one is laid back. They're both very different girls but share their love of Beneful Healthy Weight. Being "grazers", we can leave their bowls out all day. Between them they eat about eleven cups a day and carry a "healthy weight" of about seventy pounds each. Our Vet loves how healthy both are at seven years old. Prior to 2001, when the original beef Beneful was introduced, we fed our Labs Purina Dog Chow. Our previous girls all did fine with that, but we liked both the idea of an upgrade by a brand we trusted and the recipe it used. We migrated to Healthy Weight when it came out. After twenty plus years of enjoying the benefits our dogs enjoy from Beneful products we heartily recommend it to all.
