We'll consider buying this for her again in the future to see if maybe it helps. I would also recommend it just to try and see if it works for others.

We have two 12 year old lab mixes and they love the Healthy Weight chicken food. They lick the bowls and I don't have coax one of them to finish her food. They both need to lose a few pounds so I'll be monitoring their weight. They don't seem to shed as much.

The chicken flavor is a hit, and the kibble size and texture make it easy for my dog to chew. I like that real chicken is the first ingredient, and the added grains and vegetables help provide a balanced diet.That said, I’m a bit concerned about the inclusion of fillers like corn and some by-products in the recipe. While it works well for dogs without food sensitivities, I’d prefer more wholesome and natural ingredients overall. It’s a reliable choice for the price, but I’d recommend it with some reservations.

They absolutely love the food & I love it because it makes my dogs happy & feeding time great. Thank you for making Beneful a great dog food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got this food my boys (miniature dachshunds) got excited so I gave each one of them a handful and they immediately gobbled it up. They both have ferocious appetites so I try to give them something that is either weight management or low calorie. I love knowing that this food has real meat and vegetables in it as well as no artificial colors or flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my divorce we moved into a small rental house with a small yard and my golden doodle didn’t have as much room to play so he gained weight and needed to go on a diet. I switched him from the regular Beneful to the Healthy Weight and he’s lost 10lb and we’ve been playing more ball in the yard. He’s happier and so am I and most importantly so is the vet!
