Your Purina DRY dog food was the quintessential dog food for my Golden Retriever Sandi, Sandra Cheyenne Winchester Spratley until she passed away at 14 years of age. I now have another Golden retriever, Bella, who also enjoys Purina DRY dog food. Dont get me wrong, we definitely add some great fixins into the Beneful dog food. if we have salmon or broccoli etc. she gets her share, and rightfully so. In the past and I emphasize in the past we have tried many "very ECo, nutritional, pure, foods for dogs BUT my girls have and do love Beneful dry dog food. Thanks Purina for helping to make my dogs life more special.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting our Aussie Shepherd/ mix rescue pup we didn’t know what food to get her. We tried 2 other brands that she didn’t seem too interested in. Then we tried Benefuls and she loved it! She gets excited when she sees the bag. We even use it as treats because she likes it so much. We on the other hand like the quality ingredients and price. We give her a combination of the Benefuls wet and dry food. Our vet says her weight is perfect!

We do use various varieties but he likes the chicken best. Hard to find in stores now where we live so have to order online. Have tried the expensive brands but no go. So nice that a reasonable priced food is available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was told my 7 year old King Charles needed to lose a few pounds I knew I was in for a long process of finding a low fat food. I started trying different brands and she would not eat. She lost the weight from not eating anything that I tried. By the time I tried Beneful Healthy Weight I was getting desperate. I put it in her bowl and she gobbled it down. I was sure it was because she was starving, but she has continued to love this food.

I used this product for years with my older dog who past away. I now have a new dog who loves to eat. Her weight has been getting up there so I thought best to change her food to Beneful. Problem being over the years of not using the brand the price has gone up. So I started using another product similar to Beneful. Wrong choice my dog gained weight not lost any. In my mail I had a flier for Beneful with a coupon. I didn't hesitate to buy a bag of it. Now the bag has run out and I'm having to go back to another brand since the cost of Beneful is much higher than their competitor. If the company and store offered more coupons or even a point system much like box tops and coke reward points where the points could used to save money on a purchase of bagged dog food that would be awesome. I would love to keep using Beneful but as I said with the economy the way it is and my money not stretching the way I need it to I'm forced to use lower quality dog food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 dogs that were getting a little too fluffy. They reached that 6-10 years of age group and were just slowing a little bit. We've also had some weather extremes that have limited their time outside. We tried the Beneful Healthy Weight and they all loved it! We were afraid they would turn their nose up at it, but they definitely like it. It's nice to have a food that they all like and will eat with no issues.
