My boy Gus is 10 years old and as he ages he isn't as active as he once was. I put him on Beneful Healthy Weight when I noticed he was gaining weight. He is a Austrailian Cattle Dog and they tend to experience joint and hip problems as they age. To keep him from suffering from this I knew I had to do something. The Beneful Healthy Weight is keeping him trim and he is experiencing no joint or hip pain that I can see.

Now that I'm eight years old I need to watch my boyish figure. Robin, my human, feeds me BenefuL HEALTHY Weight Dry Dog Food mixed with a bit of Beneful wet food twice a day to keep me happy and healthy. My coat is black and shiny and I must say I do look great for a Lab-mix my age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cookie my male 2 year old shih tzu whom is very active but just seems to be a picky eater when it come to dry food/kibble have to mix Wet foods/meat with his dry food. Cookie don't seem to be a big fan of this flavor however other he has done better on eating then whole this flavor would have to crush up with mixed wet food to get Cookie to eat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Rover, a husky!golden retriever mix, has a sensitive stomach to reach foods such as those with gravy. The Beneful healthy weight chicken suits him just fine. It also helps him to keep to a healthy weight even with large amount of exercise. Our prior dog Rex was much smaller at about 38 pounds, and he also loved Beneful beef flavor. Rover is about 80 pounds. I think Beneful is healthy affordable choice and dogs love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And I was surprised that my dogs enjoyed the food to the point they did not leave anything behind which is a shock since my shepherd is such a picky eater. He would only eat certain kibble out of what’s in a mix. But this one he ate it all. And my other dog was seeing if he left anything behind. But he never does. So I would buy this again once the bag is all gone.

Our Fox Red is a hard worker who needs to stay busy while our Black one is laid back. They're both very different girls but share their love of Beneful Healthy Weight. Being "grazers", we can leave their bowls out all day. Between them they eat about eleven cups a day and carry a "healthy weight" of about seventy pounds each. Our Vet loves how healthy both are at seven years old. Prior to 2001, when the original beef Beneful was introduced, we fed our Labs Purina Dog Chow. Our previous girls all did fine with that, but we liked both the idea of an upgrade by a brand we trusted and the recipe it used. We migrated to Healthy Weight when it came out. After twenty plus years of enjoying the benefits our dogs enjoy from Beneful products we heartily recommend it to all.
