I am a rescue dog. When I was adopted my humans gave me Regular Beneful. I liked that. As I aged my humans and vet thought I should be cognizant of my weight, as excess weight has a significant bearing on my joints. I like Beneful Healthy weight. That makes my human happy that I like what they provide for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog has eaten this in the past. This time we bought it, and she ate it at first then refused to eat for a few days. So we had to switch her food. We have 1/2 a bag left that my dog won’t eat of this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs are nibblers. Their bowl of Beneful is always out and available . I hear them crunching on the kibble even during the night, when they need a little snack. They are both a healthy strong weight.

We have 6 year old Boxer Ben and he really loves chicken. And the size of the kibble is perfect.cause the other brand of dry dog food Ben was eatting cause him to choke on it and throw it up.That kibble was way to small for Ben. So we switched to Beneful and Ben loves it and no more choking problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My black lab Lady loves the Beneful taste both dry and the tub meals. The fact that this food can help her lose/maintain her weight is great. She has issues with her back legs and fines walking difficult most of the time. But she still loves her daily meals with her Beneful. We like to feed her healthy so she can be with us longer, she's between 13-15 yrs old, not sure because we rescued her in 2012 and her age was an estimate. We love this beautiful dog. We changed to Beneful Healthy Weight about 6 months ago. Our dogs were getting REAL chunky & 3 of them are over 5 yrs old. They all are very active dogs but were still gaining weight. So we changed dog foods. After about 2 months we noticed each were starting to trim down. We also noticed that they were not eating as much. They seemed to be satisfied with less food. This was nice to see. Thank you Purina for creating this product.

All 3 of my dogs have weak stomach’s so when I started buying this brand it saved my babies from constantly being sick on those other brands of dog food! The only con is it’s hard to find at the stores whether I’m ordering online or buying in store!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog will eat Beneful but she is not real keen on it. It is like night and day between how she reacts to Purina One compared to Beneful. She can hardly wait for me to empty the scoop before gobbling up Purina One. You get what you pay for, even on dog food.

I want Max to be at a healthy weight. My husband noticed, and the vet confirmed, that he was beginning to get pudgy. My husband found this and we started him on it. He enjoys the taste and because it has kept his weight regulated, we have kept with the program.

Saw the ad on tv and thought it might be a good option for my older to lose some weight. But when I went to the store to buy, I read the ingredients and decided against. The second ingredient is by-product-meal. I would never feed that to my dog. I love him too much to feed him junk!
