I give the app 5 stars. However, I dropped the overall rating to a 4 because it was very confusing to get started. I logged into the Turbo Tax website and it did not have any of my account info. So I had to login to the Intuit website and then select Turbo Tax to get to my account. That was not clear to me beforehand.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 30 years, it has always done a great job. This is year was no exception. However, I have one concern going forward, the notice that popped up stating that since Microsoft has chosen to end support for Windows 10 there is no guarantee that Turbo Tax will work properly in the future under that Operating System. I would suggest that since there is a host of perfectly capable computers in use that due to certain quirks of Windows 11 cannot be upgraded, yet none of the reasons for this would affect an accounting type application such as Turbo Tax, if you want to retain customers that happen to own a computer Microsoft is leaving behind, you should make your software work for both operating systems for the foreseeable future, otherwise many current turbo tax users may consider switching to other tax preparation software. Myself included.

I prepared my return and my three children. It calculated the tax wrong on one of my children, but I was able to correct the issue by creating a new return without importing from last year. There must have been a flag or data point somewhere that was brought forward from previous year when she was a student/dependent. This setting was stopping her from qualifying for savers credit on form 8880.

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now. I should consider myself an expert now, but I still feel like a rookie. Every year I always encounter issues with new added features. Turbo Tax should at least provide new revisions and/or added forms or features advisement. This year in the state section of the form, I've encountered this feature regarding Fair Market Value just because of the mortgage interest, form 1098, we received. It didn't provide any explanation. I think the Deductible Home Mortgage Interest worksheet is new and there's no section where you can review the entries unless you access the forms used.

Your TurboTax program is messed up, and wouldn't let me file my return, just running me in a loop over and over again in the RMD section. I tried over a dozen times to file my completed return, finally calling one of your tax experts for help. Shannon was a very knowledgeable and helpful young lady, but even she couldn't figure out what was wrong. She asked her supervisor for help, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong either. Finally, we started checking or unchecking boxes, and even though the amended information was changed, it finally send the forms through. If I get audited, or have any more issues with your TurboTax product, it will be the last time that I ever purchase your product, after almost thirty years of using TurboTax!!!! YOU NEED TO GET YOUR PRODUCT FIXED, TO WORK PROPERLY!!!!

options to select on panels only partially revealed. New AGI requirement (I didn't have) and your assistence in obtaining it non-existent. New $40 process fee wasn't disclosed until the very end of processing. Your help was no help at all. considering using some other service next year.

This is now the second year in a row that I am unable to e-file. When selecting that method I continue to get an error message that the file did otherwise transmit. Retried a day later and again a day after that, still no success. Finally printed out the returns and mailed them. Also got charged $20 for filing of PA state return and this also got mailed due to not transmitting. Seriously considering changing to new software for taxes.

Product froze with white screen after final review. Would not advance to Filing stage. I had to uninstall and reinstall the software. And then work with a dup file copy of my return. Finally was able to file, but should never have had those problems. Windows 11 TT Deluxe, Desktop

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10+ years. i have loved and relied on this product to do my families taxes. I, however, am disappointed in the limited Federal returns be only 5. for a family who needs 7. They are free but using The Turbo program I was comforted knowing they were accurate. I may unfortunately need to consider an alternative to Turbo in the future because of this limitation. Thank you for the years of tax convivence.

The software is excellent technically re Tax Code and user friendly GUI. I chose the Expert Advice option for a nominal fee, used it once for an interpretation, and once non a technical software question. The phone support was outstanding! Time on hold was negligible and the agents were friendly and knowledgeable.
