I use Turbo Tax every year and never have issues with the returns. However, this tear I found that sometimes the software would load but then drop out after I selected the document button. Usually, I could reload and get back to the document after a second try but until the return was finished, I was afraid the info would be lost. It never was and the submissions went cleanly as usual.

As a newly registered domestic partner, this was insanely difficult to navigate. I am from California which recognizes RDP. Federal does not recognize it. With TurboTax, the filing status is filled out before even going into the Federal or the State tabs, so in order for me to file correctly, I must file electronically as single, and then file by mail my state as RDP. I followed TurboTax's steps, answered all questions honestly, and selected the recommended options. This led me to file an incorrect federal and state which I will now have to amend.

The changes you made to Turbo Tax made my process longer. Maybe it was me and my age but it took a lot more time to go back and review and figure out what was happening. I ended up with many extra tabs from my broker after downloading his forms and had to go back and clear out half of them. Who knows why.

I've been using TurboTax for a long time (since the 90s) and will continue to do so. However, it is seeming that the questions posed in some cases are very confusing and not as easily understood by laymen. I know the tax codes are getting more and more difficult, but we use this product to help cut down on the jargon used from the tax code. It would be great to see the guidance through dealing with tax filing simplified for everyone. Like it used to be.

Seemed ok in the beginning. I filed my taxes with email refund return. Never heard a word from anyone other than the returns were accepted. I checked on the status of the return and my desktop icon for TT 2024 wanted me to start over. Couldn't find the completed return?? Finally dug it out of a file but had to resubmit because there was an unfound error in the way I reported my RMD which wasn't detected at the time.

Basically, I really like TurboTax; however, being harassed over and over about purchasing an upgrade for state tax in a state that has NO INCOME TAX and Audit Defense and Live Tax Advice gets annoying. I think since TurboTax knows Tennessee has NO INCOME TAX, it should stop that immediately. As for the other two items, how many times do I have to say NO! I take the standard deduction and everything else comes from the forms sent to me.

Have not been able to submit my CT taxes. I have several emails that say the CT1040 Form is now ready, I perform the Update, and it still does not work saying DO NOT FILE. I noticed that no updates since December are listed in the Connecticut folder. The update feature does seem to be pulling any fixes to the CT1040 form into my current TurboTax version. I just submitted my Federal taxes. When will this be resolved so I can submit my Connecticut taxes?

Unable to Print Unable to Pay with Credit Card without signing up for Audit Defense Pay with Credit Card is $5.00 higher than the previous screen states. Is this a credit card user charge. If it is it is TOO high Also entering 1099-INTs is a nightmare

Really disliked the changes to the entry of interest & dividend income this year. I found it confusing that I was asked which I wanted to work on first but was then presented with a list of all accounts in no particular order (those of dividend and interest bearing accounts). If you tried to go down the list in order presented (and you weren't lucky enough to have the initial account be of the type to chose) you could do nothing when you tried to open that account for entry. I think it was the 3rd or 4th attempt before I could ONLY enter things in the account type chosen. I would suggest returning to the "old" method or only have the prior year interest bearing accounts viewable when the choice of interest is selected. Hope you can make sense of that explanation. Other than that unfortunate modification, I think this is a great product. I have been using this product successfully for at least 10 years without even looking around for an alternative.

Disappointed with the new charge to use your bank to eFile. It seemed that there was a way to eFile using IRS and State servers, but that option was not apparent. I pay my annual license fee for TurboTax, I do not appreciate this additonal money grab.
