The over all product has been a lifesaver when it comes to tax time. The walk through guide is easy to follow and understand. We do not own a small business nor work for ourselves, so we don't have too many extraneous financial areas with which we have to address. Only thing that is a knock on it is that since I do work for the transportation industry, some more guidance with regard to hours-of-service and meal compensation would be appreciated.

I have used TurboTax for decades. It has always been easy to use because it asks very concise and clear questions. If I have had a question arise, I have always found my answer quickly using the provided online search/help feature. I have never had any issues arising from my use of TurboTax for both completing all of the required tax forms and e-filing my Federal and State forms. I have always been kept aware of where my forms are in the Federal and State approval processes. I rely on TurboTax to help me quickly and easily file my tax forms every year.

I have been using TurboTax since the DOS version in 1985. It has been improving every year. I have never been audited or had any issues with my taxes since I have been using TurboTax. I used to dread tax time, but with TurboTax the process is quick and easy. My taxes have become less complicated since I retired, and this year set a new record. One hour to complete and file state and federal taxes! Awesome!

I am not a tax expert. I found some areas confusing. Especially when I have to calculate the minimum distribution on IRA's. I wish they would ask the driver's license info in the beginning because here I thought I was finally completely done... but no, Now I have to go back and dig out my license.

Overall pretty easy. However, while inputting for present year's return often asks for this-or-that, from this-or that- form/schedule from previous year. Why doesn't t the program pull the info itself; rather than me have to pull up last ear's return to find the entries?!

I've used Turbo Tax for years and this was by far the most difficult version to work with. And it won't let me print my returns so I have to download them, pull them up and rename them in another folder. It shouldn't be this difficult to print my own return. We moved last year and the previous state return was more difficult to separate out.

Turbotax oil more expensive and more difficult to access online as opposed to using a disc. I had to purchase TT twice because I was also doing my wife's taxes as we are filing separately and are separated. I also purchased an extra state (Pennsylvania) in order to do her taxes and this was covered in my second turbotax purchase, Therefore, I should be refunded for purchasing the state version for Pennsylvania. I've done my own taxes for my entire life and you are making it more difficult and expensive. You should have a simpler . less costly option for seniors

Generally a pretty good product but I have a background in accounting and tax prep which makes it easier. I was surprised by the cost to efile my state though. Yesterday it was 20% or $20 but when I filed today, I was charged $25. A bit disappointed.

I got hung up on a question about fruit trees in the depreciation section and would have have appreciated advise BUT I'm not paying for it. I have never owned a fruit tree or enter the word fruit or tree on my return. I have no idea where that came from.

Turbo Tax has been consistently reliable all these years. It's the company that I trust when I do my tax yearly. For the year of 2025, I would like to see more guidance, more info, more details, and more links when doing the state return. For tax year 2024, I have noticed that when I did the state of California, there were limited guidance and even no guidance and explanation especially with new tax laws.
