Turbo Tax is great. Been using it for decades. Only problems encountered was in filling out the K-1 forms. minimal instructions in the step-by-step process. Very confusing. So much so, I had to pay the $60 for expert help from Turbo Tax to fill out the form - which was easy as they walked me through it. I will continue to use it, but please fix the issue.

TT is pretty okay as I've been using it for over 20 years. Downloading and setting up the program now that you've dumped the CD is a pain in the patootie and makes me think this will probably be the last year. The layer-upon-layer of security krap caused me to abandon my previous account and start a new one with a new e-mail address, all because it's practically impossible to reset your password.

I have been using TT for as long as I can remember, but his year I did my reviews, submitted the forms, and I was rejected because I didn't submit a required form. the problem is that i did enter it into the forms, so I was surprised when it came back.

Excellent product. Will lead you through each step or let you go to a particular step or form when you so choose. Love the ability to switch between step by step mode and forms mode. Need only one product to file both federal and state tax at the same time.

I've been a customer since 1995. It seems you should know what your doing by now. Instead of giving your customers the best possible product at a fair cost you prefer to nickel and dime them for profit. That wasn't the direction you were going when you first started.

I have been using Turbo Tax for last 15+ years ( except for one year around 2014). I have been living & filing from Florida for the last 7 years. The software is pushing me to do FL state taxes repeatedly even after saying no with the sole purpose of extracting another $45 from me. I also don't want to use online Turbotax a/c. I want CD and store my information on my laptop and not in Turbo Tax's cloud a/c

Last-minute error in going to submit my return regarding Code A-101 and "other additions/subtractions" for the NY State tax return. It turns out, this issue has been know to TurboTax for more than one month, yet in downloading the latest version today (April 13), it had not been fixed. Why?

Much harder to navigate than in the past. Had to go back and forth in various categories to ensure that all my data was entered. Then, the transmission of the return couldn't go through because another update was added from one day to the next. While I can appreciate that Turbo Tax wants to keep up to date on issues and forms, making me attempt to transmit my filing over and over for 3 hours before finding out that I needed to update my version of TurboTax before transmission was quite annoying. This should have been built into the verification process that you supposedly do. I am very disappointed in the lack of quality of your current product.

Every year since 1960 I have completed the Federal and Maryland state taxes manually myself and mailed them. Because I moved to another state in 2024 I purchased Turbo Tax to make sure I would complete the two state tax forms correctly and then file electronically. I spent many hours entering the data from my 1099s into TurboTax. The two state taxes were very easy and TurboTax deserves credit for that. However, I had to pay $40 for the second state, then you wanted $50 more to file the state returns electronically. I printed out the completed forms myself and will mail all of the forms via USPS. I will probably not use Turbo Tax again because it took me manually about three days, but three times that for Turbo Tax.

I used TurboTax Deluxe. I don't own a home and always need only the standard deduction. It would be very time saving if I could check that box at the beginning to avoid answering the full questionnaire. I understand that some information is needed to assure the maximum refund, but you could ask for rough estimate values for that purpose. Perhaps if that box was checked, for the case of automobile registration you could prompt that this amount was part of the standard deduction, just enter a rough estimate rather than require me to go out in the snow to get my paperwork and to drive 100 miles round trip to retrieve my motorhome paperwork.
