I have always used Tubo tax, but there are times when I wanted to try another. Because I could contrast and comparison whether the numbers are better. I notice there were more question asked for about my IRA but Turbo tax did not explain why that information was sked for a second time doing the state block.

TurboTax is still easy to use but since I get a military retirement and my state deducts part of it, I did not notice anything regarding that show up and had to manually review the worksheet to see if it was there. This is has been going on for years that I manually checked the worksheet to verify it was deducted.

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and this was the first time I had any trouble filing my state return. I called Tech support and Rebekkah was very helpful even though we could not resolve the issue she was a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, and experienced.

Turbo Tax Deluxe was fairly straightforward, though at times, questions were repetitive and the search option did not always take us to where we needed information. The option to e-file our one state return should be 'free' when purchasing this product, in our opinion.

I used Turbo Tax for over 20 years to file personal taxes. I will not use it next year. This year Turbo couldn't find previous year taxes so none of my standard info carried forward and I had to manually enter. In addition, none of the previous years info forwarded so I didn't get the 5 year (or any years) summary. I hated the constant reminder/option to purchase additional tax expert. The questions weren't always straight forward (i.e. is "Federal ID" same as "Payers TIN?" None of the cut/paste options worked. So many other little irritating issues. Next year I'll just use IRS free email option.

One form did not calculate correctly. Was able to use help line to remove form and have the system re-generate it. This made me unsure of the rest of the software. Hopefully everything was ok. I have used Turbo Tax for a long time but, this is the first year I had doubts. The software is getting expensive and I like having a CD for my records incase my PC has issues and I have to install it in another PC.

TurboTax walked me through filing our taxes for 2 years now. I had never filed taxes prior to last year. My husband always used TurboTax to file our taxes but he has Parkinson's disease and can no longer use a computer. I had to learn how to do the taxes. With the help from TurboTax I've completed our taxes and I'm confident that TurboTax has lead me through without mistakes.

Better at not hiding "extras" but still confusing fee explanation when paying amounts due to states (ohio....did you charge me 2.8% or was I supposed to pay the state myself?) Also, 1040-MISC still sucks. My assumption when using your product is that there is always some hidden fee and I have to focus on that on top of the task of the taxes. Why I still use you I dont know

Federal filing was fine...state (CO) completed the filing with NO DATA. Restarting the program allowed state to be completed but MISSED Tabor state tax refund of $646. I have 10 Turbo Tax shortcuts on my desktop for ach year we have used this app....will be looking for alternatives next year.

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have been pretty happy with the software. My taxes are simple, and don't take much time. I've only used the Deluxe version and can't really advise on the other version. This year 2024, I had a little bit of trouble installing and activating the software, I noticed it didn't show my 2023 taxes, however all the other years showed up. Once downloaded, the program is straightforward and easy to navigate.
