I have loved Turbo Tax and used it since the 80's. This year there appears to be a 1040 Payment voucher showing $***.00 due by mid June (included in Tax forms that I assume is being sent to IRS). I am getting a Refund and do not owe anything. Why is this there and Where did you get $***.00 amount. Nothing in Help about it. This may be the last year I use Turbo Tax. Very upsetting

If your advisers are the same people who developed the Deluxe program, I would not trust them. Two specific reasons come to mind. 1. The program does not recognize that one can take 401k or 457 funds to pay IRA MRD's, as long as the total withdrawn equals the sum of all RMDs. 2. There is no provision to enter electronic estimate payments in either federal or state tax payment credit sections.

Ridiculous that TT makes it so stupidly difficult to simply download a copy of their software to install and use on the computer. 99% of the links provided lead users to the online filing option, from inside a web browser. TT needs to stop with the games and lety users have their full options for installing and using the software, instead of herding people to their preferred method of file usage. Very disapointed in this. It almost makes me want to stop using TT products.

This was the first time I had to stop filling my taxes because Turbo Tax didn't have a form 8283 ready. I waited two weeks, and still their was NO Form! I decided Not to included my None Cash Donations this year, so that I could continue with my taxes and file. This was really bad for Turbo Tax.

I usually love TurboTax, however, last year and this year, the pop-up screens have no way to scroll or shrink to fit the viewable area...so many items are inaccessible without rotating the screen 90 degrees or guessing what the empty boxes require to be typed in them. Please fix these issues!

I'm a long time user. Turbotax 2024 was much more difficult to use this year. New screens/user interfaces for downloads of W-2s and 1099s were not at all intuitive and confusing to navigate. The displays showed "phantom" downloads where values were blank and apparently were pulled forward from the prior tax year. The auto update completely froze once and required me to research online the technical work-around/recovery. The workflow for Foreign Tax Credits for passive income is nearly intractable and most computed values are not displayed/explained. Plus, while I'm resigned to accepting it, the multiple screens/locations for entering medical expense information (medical expenses, business expenses, marketplace premiums) is exhausting to navigate. An annoying issue is the Federal error check continually requiring an optimizer check box for American Opportunity/Lifetime Learning credits. Finally the Q&A for MA state returns is very confusing - even misleading - with respect to updating tax loss carryforwards.

Did not like the online preparation versus CD. Really disappointed when after being alerted to "confirm" State tax ID number, and responding that it was correct, the software accepted, and continued on including final reviews stating all was okay! Then, result was a huge amount owed!!!!! And it was NOT! I researched and found that the State tax amount withheld was NOT added!!!! Therefore, the State AMOUNT WITHHELD was blank, NOT the State ID number!!!! Big difference and unnecessary stress. Also, it would really help to have larger print and larger pages. First time we have complaint.

Although I've use Turbo Tax for many years, this is the first time I used Turbo Tax on a Mac computer, and it was a terrible experience. I spend hours on the phone with Turbo Tax reps, and was still not successful in filing with the Apple computer for one of the two returns I prepared.

For the first time ever, I had a problem as I tried to save my final returns. I got error code 567812 saying my returns (which I had just saved earlier in the day) were read only and could not be saved. I eventually saved them to my desktop but lost an hour trying to figure out what happened.

Have used Turbo Tax for 10 years. This year it appeared to required more of my own selection of things to chose from. Liked it better that turbo tax went thru all areas with out me choosing what to pick. I had to go thru the software multiple times because I was concerned I had missed something.
