preparing return easy as pie. I do it via the forms route because I feel the it is closer to the real stuff. Been using TT for over 20 years. Very happy customer. Keep up the great product. Never get rid of the forms mode (like you did with the on line version (BOO).

I spent $80.00 on software for 2022 only to discover AFTER the purchase that I could not take advantage of the e-filing option. When speaking to a representative I was informed that I paid the $80.00 for the software to do my taxes for me... I already had them done, I just wanted to file them electronically and was willing to pay the money to do so. Needless to say that was a waste of $80.00 and I will no longer be using this software... ever again.

Turbo Tax seems to have done a reasonably good job with data and calculations. However, the print on screen is very small. There should have been an early warning that the software needed an update to e-file! Instead, it let me go all the way through the e-file process only to alert me that there was a problem and it couldn't continue. That was very frustrating.

For the first time I used the OnLine version of TurboTax instead of the Desktop version. I found it to limit my ability to actually understand the transfer of information to the Forms. As such I had questions about my return that couldn't be asked or answered without looking at the Tax Forms. The only way I could look at the tax forms was to indicate the return was complete and put out a PDF of the forms. Once I stated the return was complete, the OnLine version wouldn't allow me to make changes unless I I stated that I needed to amend the return. After several hours of trying different work a rounds, I finally gave up and found a way to transfer the current OnLine version to the Desktop version. Then I was able to make changes and understand what I was doing. AS SUCH, I BELIEVE THE ONLINE VERSION NEEDS WORK BEFORE IT IS READY FOR EVEN TRIAL WORK.

The items to fill in after all the data has been downloaded from my financial institution are confusing. It asked how I paid my state taxes - I entered the quarterly payments that had been withheld - WRONG! Those data had already come in from the downloads. It didn't catch the error but I did. The refund was 5 times last year's, which data the 2025 program had.

YES! IT WAS THIS VERY OUTSTANDING YOUNG LADY NAME SALLY. MS. SALLY THE GREATEST PERSON I EVER TALK WITH. I ALWAYS ASK FOR THE NAME OF THE PERSON I SPEAK WITH AND WHAT STATE THEY'RE IN I EVEN JOTTED IT ON A P0ST-IT AND CAN'T FIND IT NOW. I EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM ONCE AND SHE LISTENED THERE WERE A COUPLE OF OTHERS BEFORE HER WHO TRIED TO HELP BUT SALLY IS THE BEST!!!

I've used TurboTax for the last 10 or so years, the 2025 version is riddled with bugs that make an already confusing tax process even worse. The last straw was a message after I had already e-filed and ACH'ed my payment that - I had to print and mail additional paperwork. The paperwork? A payment voucher to pay my taxes, which I had already scheduled via ACH. The language was fearful "Don't skip this important step!", so now i have to wonder if my ACH will happen or not. The TT forum is full of people experiencing the same thing.

Only issue I encountered was upon completion of the Federal portion I was presented with an offer to leave the desktop version and go to the online version great offer although the data from the desktop version to the online version was not transferable so I opted to remain with the desktop version

I had trouble from Fidelity downloading my data. fidelity should let you know what name should be entered to download the data. Not really turbo Tax problem, but I wish there was an easy way to know what to enter. I had problem with my IP Pin and that was the IRS problem, but I wish turbo tax could look before the people have to deal with a rejected tax form.

i started with the online version of turbo tax after receiving several emails about the product. for my needs i felt that the online version was extremely glitchy and frustrating to navigate through. its the first time i was frustrated with a turbo tax product.
