I don't like all the extra fees. It's also difficult to determine which version I need. You should just have one version and do your best for everyone. I would not buy this again except for the ease of transferring my pervious years' taxes. I will probably shop around next year though.

Both desktop turbotax delux and business are horrendous to work with in my opinion. All they want to do is sell more help and personal assistance for all the bugs and issues they create. Nice business model! And forget about privacy for their online version from what I saw. I came across constant errors, no guidance on how to handle relatively simple business topics and then their HELP function is no help at all. It never seems to return anything close to what was asked. I had to use chatgpt to find out how to fix the turbotax bugs, delete error prone sheets, record entries, etc. I cannot be the one to figure out turbotax's issues when I pay for it.

My situation is somewhat unique. I moved from CA to MA in Dec. 2024, and I sold my main home in CA in March 2025. I did complete the return in the following way: Federal tax, then MA state, then CA state. I faced two problems. First, MA tried to charge the tax on the sale of house in CA to MA state without providing the credit for the tax payment in CA. (I eventually found the credit section. I was able to get the credit for tax payment in CA). Second, CA state tax does not calculate the tax on the sale of house in CA. I spent some hours to figure out the way to charge the tax on the sale of the house to CA state. I inserted the net income from the sale of the houses into the necessay part in the tax worksheet (I do not remember the worksheet name). Then I was able to find the tax amount I expected. Anyhow I got a "reasonable" tax amount for both states. I wish you could provide mor kind guide to address this kind of problem.

still better than paper, but the product has lose needed functionality. loss of "it's deductible" is likely a deal breaker for next year. This process of entering charitable deductions used to be seamless. Now it frankly sucks. The user experience sucks when you have to enter many donations of household goods to one charity. Even simple things like multiple cash donations of the same amount are done differently this year. I'm disappointed.

The software did not recognize mt daughters age of over 18 and put her as a dependent so my return was rejected. It also charged me for my state return and on was supposed to be included. Turbo Tax is not as dependable as i used to be. Everything is an upcharge.

Lower the heavy push on trying to sell all the extras. Too much and very distracting. Also looks like you are pushing hard for the $25 charge to e-file state by making it difficult to print state for mailing after e-filing federal. You have a good product, but I'll switch to avoid all the sales crap. Taxes are stressful enough. Don't add to it!

Having been a Turbo Tax customer since it first came out with the disks, I'm somewhat disappointed that Its Deductible has been eliminated. The guided questions in this edition seem to not be as clear and concise as prior years. I'll still use the Turbo Tax but I hope some of the more user-friendly features return.

I spent several HOURS trying to delete a blank K-1 that appeared days ago, and it even kept coming back after deleting it including on the final screen to E-File. This is a common issue according to web reports. The Reviews topics don't seem to workk properly!

Help Turbo tax Deluxe will not allow me to efile? never had this problem in 14 years with Turbo tax. It is asking for a correct zip code on a Capital Bank and Trust form for my Wife. It is the same as my form and it accepts it. Need to file BY tomorrow.

Over priced for value/utility received. Default user interface and experience is horrible, despite having been on the market for many years. Design has a seemingly deliberate lack of obvious features that would improve use/experience and little to no user control through settings/preference adjustments. The process for correcting errors, when flagged, is ridiculously devoid of necessary context or information needed to understand and correct the error. Want more detailed feedback? Pay me.
