I've been ruasing TurboTax for over 10 years. My tax situation is relatively simple. The e-filing is great, and the Audit Protection service is outstanding. Last year the IRS sent me a notice for an additional $4,000 payment on my 2023 tax. I contacted Tax Audit right away, and after a few weeks, they managed to reduce that amount to $1,000, saving me $3,000.

I've used TT for years and it gets HARDER every year to do anything on my own and adjust forms that absolutely need adjusting. Very frustrating trying to figure out how to edit forms and equally as frustrating how to adjust/remove something that was placed by mistake. Wasted a lot of time. I am considering using something else next year which makes me sad since Ive used TT for as long as I can remember.

This was our first year doing our taxes and Turbo Tax was so easy to use. You can choose whether you want to be walked through or just explore on your own. I chose to be walked through the steps since this was my first time doing my own taxes. Anything you could want to know is included in the "Learn More" links that you can click on when you have a question. I wasn't sure how to use the chat assistant but I found everything I needed through "Learn More." I was spending $400.00 per year on my tax preparation which was going up each year. This is so much more economical and the program is exceptional. Everything works as promised.

You won't accept Janey's adjusted gross income. I have had to enter it 3, I'm now on my fourth try for you to accept it. Some of the income has both names on it. I have tried splitting it in half and you still won't accept it. What do you want? Her AGI or Both! Get your act together or i will go somewhere else for my taxes. And as far as for 1 free state, that is a bunch of bull!!

A bit confused about the HSA. I use my HSA card to pay for meds, docs, and other medical related expenses (prescription glasses). The question was if I did not receive the HSA form (can't remember the form), it means I did not use my HSA card...but I did. Could it be that I did not spend that much to qualify for the deductible?

Staff should review how program works for 1099 MISC (3) other income. Plugged dollar amount in Income from Form 1099-MISC, but program treated the amount as Business Income and Expenses and reflected a additional $3,000.00 federal tax due. Was able to correct program error in Review steps. Have used this product for 9 years.

I was set to receive about a $2K refund. Then I opened TurboTax again, it did an update of the files, and then showed me that I owed about $10K to the IRS. After rechecking all of my figures, it looks like TurboTax changed my RMD answers (wrongly) and that was the problem. More work on my part. I would have given you a 5-start rating but this added more work to my already busy schedule.

Ok until I tried to print my returns. I wanted a printed copy for my own records. Could not print, hit print and...after a long time I hit save and it exited the print screen, then nothing, no printing. Tried several times. Then I figured how to save them as a PDF. The main state form (CO form 104) did NOT save. I had to do this manually and could not get a clear print from "Forms" section of Intuit Turbotax. Trying to print is just awful. When asked if I wanted the state filing fee deducted from my Fed return, I clicked yes. Turbotax does not tell you there is s $40 fee to do this until you get ready to file!!! Very deceptive.

I've used TurboTax for years and never had a problem until this year. After I put all my time inputing all my tax data, I went to print it out for review and nothing happened! I got all frustrated and finally I read the reviews and found out many people are having the same issue. Finally I followed one reviewers suggestion about going around the system and it worked. This glitch is unacceptable and should have been corrected! I'm very disappointed with the product!
