I've used TurboTax for many years. It is always comprehensive and easy to use. The hints and tips are very useful. I used a tax preparer several years ago and will never do it again. TurboTax is affordable. The tax preparer was double the cost for the same outcome. This year's tax return took me less than a half hour to complete.

The software was always excellent in my opinion but this year it started forcing me to join an AUDIT service that I have absolutely no interest in paying for. I spent so much time trying to look up information as to how to get rid of it to no avail. This is a marketing item that most people do not need. Please fix the software so it can be skipped as in the past.

Buggier than any of the previous years, with one page freezing. Lots of advertising to upgrade, which slowed down the process and triggerred the page freeze. Prettier interface on some pages in 2024, but otherwise no major improvements. I've been using Turbotax for 10+ years now. Not many improvements through the years; it still looks like they are adding patches to the original outdated software code. I do not trust their network security, accessing my ADP, or my bank info. They still refused to use the word 'Affordable health care Act,' but instead call it 'uncommon' or 'Obamacare.' Very outdated.

I don't need to do a state tax return yet the program seems to want to print it. I do not see the annual review & comparison page that I have had every year. That may be due to the version or the program I purchased this year? If so, that is sad and rediculous. Also, Printing the Fed return seems different. In the past, I was given the option to print the return as filed AND print the return with supporting documents used in calculating the return. My tax return has become rather simple, so that may be the reason for the lack of both printing options. Overall, the program gets the job done, with a few quirks in some areas of data input.

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and have found it fairly easy to use. This year, I completed all the screens, had it checked for errors and was ready to hit the last "continue" button. I had trouble with that and could not figure out if it was the program or technical problems on my end. I called Turbo Tax on the phone for help and talked to a very helpful lady, but did not solve the problem. The next day I solved the problem on my own: All the continue buttons in the program required only one click. The last button required a DOUBLE CLICK!!! Please fix this so other people don't have the same problem.

The e file did not work for me and maybe many more, due to the ID Pin has been change by the IRS more than 5 numbers I had to call them to find out why it was rejected and that's the reason I was given by the IRS agent. I was not able to e file any of my returns I had to mail the returns to each one of the agencies. South Carolina took longer than last year for me to be able to print.

crap product. you pay money for the software, then pay money to file the federal refund, then pay money to file to state even though it clearly says " Federal and State", but that is only filing by mail (which who has done that, it's 2025 TurboTax!!!) So all in all I expected to pay the 45$ for the Turbotax software. I ended up paying 45$+25$ (for state)+40$ (for federal), so a total of 105$ to file taxes. Then they had the audacity to ask for more money if I had tax questions!!! HR Block here I come!

Turbotax altogether was fine, easy to use. But the hidden fee at the end was absolutely bull. Turbotax should be telling customers upfront that even if they BUY A CODE ELSEWHERE, they will still charge them... For this reason, I'm taking my return elsewhere next year...

I filed my 2022 and 2023 taxes and wasn't able to e-file them because the IRS is closed. Turbo Tax should inform customers upfront-NOT AFTER THE LAST STEP OF THE PROCESS. I PAY THE E-FILE RATE BUT HAVE TO MAIL THEM. DON'T NEED TURBO TAX FOR THAT-AND I SHOULDN'T BE CHARGED $80 FOR A MAIL FILE WHEN I CAN DO IT FOR FREE SIMPLY BY DOWNLOADING THE 1040 FORM FORM THE IRS WEBSITE!!!

Two calls to support. First was great and walked me through downloading. Other was also helpful but my question to her was this why I have to pay to file state e file. I had to pay but I feel that its deceptive advertising in not notifying the buyers the cost of down load does not the e file for state .
