This was my worst year for using TT in over a decade. First, I really don't like the fact that I cannot get a stand alone disk any more. Second, there were several errors and misstatements in the notations for the Oregon tax forms which caused me to do a lot of detective work. Generally, it seemed clunkier and not as smooth an interface. Finally, I had to buy a new computer to have the OS to use with this program. A real pain

I had a problem dowloading the software. When I went to nstall it on my PC the link took me to a page with other turbotax links & other tax preparers. You should have a direct link to install a previously purchased turbo tax software. I like the cd better. The program itself is really good. I had a problem priting. The full widh of the pages did not print. That is a problem with my printer or your programming. I don't know which.

I have been a TT user for over 25 years. This is the first year I hav used the MAC version. I am not sure off that is the reason, but I find the new user interface less customer friendly. Many of the questions and prompts do not seem to have the same level of detail\explanation as I have known int he past. There was also a lot of fields that required the same information to be typed in again instead of pulling from the previous entries.

I've been using TurboTax for decades and have given TurboTax a 5 star rating. I would have given a 5 star rating this year, however now I need a password to download the State tax form. TurboTax does not recognize my password and won't allow me to download the State return. This has never happened to me in previous years. I have submitted my Federal return and the IRS has accepted. Now I need do my State return. Can you help me? Thanks.

Overall great product. The biggest problem that I encountered was trying to download turbo tax. I was getting so many different & fraudulent sites with trying to type into the google page. Yours was actually 6th down on the page. Thank goodness that I have been working with computers since 1979 and knew what exactly to look for. Some people may not be so fortunate. I wish that you return to the CD format, a lot safe and more secure.

Great overall experience with Fed + State eFile. Have used Turbo Tax for years. After having already paid for the software, the additional $25 + tax filing fee for the state return is always super deflating at the end of the experience, unfortunately. That fee should go away. You should just increase the initial price of the software if you need to charge a state filing fee. The fee at the end of everything is a disappointment.

Good product. I have been using it for over 20 years. It could use some improvements. e.g. Don't ask me questions that you can obtain from my previous year. (e.g. Did you take the standard deduction?). Also, I download my brokerage account 1099s in PDF. TurboTax should be able to extract that information from the PDF files. Yes, I know you can retrieve this information from my broker, but I don't like doing that for security reasons.

Turbo Tax is fine, but they could really improve the standard deduction vs itemized deduction section. I am at the time in life where standard deduction is usually better, but I waste an hour imputing the numbers into the item deduction section just to find out it is best to use the standard deduction. Need to add a count down meter while using the itemize section that tells you how much more you need to itemize to make it worth it.

TurboTax has gone downhill. I am not sure if they are getting worse at developing their programs, or they make it intentionally confusing, forcing you to buy the "Live Tax Advice" up-sell. Self-Research tools are gone and communication between Federal and State returns (especially in multi-state filings) has become almost non-existent.

i specifically purchased to file my 2021 taxes so I could complete same day but website did NOT tell me until I after I paid and was finished preparing my taxes that I could NOT E-file. I spent $80 for nothing because I missed the deadline. The website should state very prominently that it can not e-file past years only paper filings.
