Pretty straightforward as usual. My only annoyance (year after year) has to do with charitable contributions. It would be enormously helpful (since this is the area of GREATEST TIME SPENT on the tax return) if a) ALL recipients from the previous year's return were listed so I don't have to enter some of them again, and, b) if the recipients were ALPHABETIZED (much easier to find and fill out).

I have used TurboTax for over 25 years. Cannot print. Never had this problem before. I'm concerned that I could not print out the recommended return and information at the end of the Federal e-file process. So I have no copy. Is my return e-filed? Frustrating wait and see? Also I cannot print specific forms from the program at "print active form." And can't print returns from there either. This is not acceptable!

I had trouble with the state/local estimated tax payments section in the federal portion of the program. I entered the state portion of my estimated tax payments on the state page and entered the county portion of estimated taxes paid on the local page. However, on my state return only the state portion of the estimated payments appeared. I had to go back and reenter the county portion on the state page in order to have my estimated payments accurately appear.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and found it to be user friendly and accurate. Being able to e-file and then save and/ or print out all the forms is wonderful. I was surprised by the $60 fee for the tax advisor, new this year. Also, the $25 to e-file state returns is annoying.

I have been using Turbo Tax ever since I can remember. It's very user friendly and the individual help screens will help you through questions you may have. I haven't used the extra's because my taxes are pretty straight forward. I will continue to use Turbo Tax each year

I have been using Turbo Tax for 30+ years. But this year (2025) was a HORRIBLE experience because somebody "got creative" and started changing how the program operates to "make it easier" and to "make it prettier". I don't need a UX-Award-Quality program. I need you to remain absolutely consistent, since all my files and my knowledge of how to proceed thru the screens is based on 30 years experience. You screwed up this year. I will be wondering and considering whether I should use something different next year.

This year was the first time that I have had problems with TT in the past 10 plus years that I have used it. I spent close to 3 hours on the phone with TT technical support to resolve an updater run time issue with the version I purchased. The good thing is that the three support people I spoke with were professional, knowledgeable, deliberate and very courteous. The problem was resolved with a 'patch' of sorts that created "manual" updating and so I was able to file my taxes.

Software works great. It's easy and straight forward. The amount of voluntary and involuntary "micro-transactions" is aggravating. Pay for advice, pay for audit protection, pay for pro check, pay for fed efile fee, pay for state efile fee, pay pay pay. I just spent $50 on your software. I don't want to spend more.

I've used for over 15 years. As a former practicing CPA, I found it to be the easiest to pop around in and avoid the walk through. In recent years, the extra paid services in your face push for which you have to close/opt out of has become more than annoying. Additionally, it's ridiculous you do not get at least one state e-file included in the price. The product is on the decline and to make up for it, they want to you to buy into their tax prep or audit services.

I have used Turbo Tax for my taxes for years and years. This is the first year I was very disappointed in the version. It failed to walk me through all of the business expenses, and I had to enter them separately by clicking on the forms themselves. It also didn't offer to show me the difference between the standard deduction and itemized deductions. Again, I checked this manually and found I was very close to being better off using itemized deductions. Unless I am very much mistaken, Turbo Tax used to compare the two for you so you could make up your own mind. I miss this feature. There were a few other times where the program seemed to be glitching and I wound up restarting it a couple of times. I usually find Turbo Tax a very robust and easy to use software. I was disappointed this year.
