Far too many and confusing and somewhat redundant screens regarding INT and Div. The section re: IRA would not let me check the IRA box for my IRA RMD so I had to select Other in order for my taxes to be completed and E-filed. Didn't make sense! The import screen for financial institutions was also confusing this year and I had to try many times to get connected and the data downloaded. Other than that most of TurboTax was as easy enough to navigate

While the Import feature would seem to be a "handy feature", TT evidently has not worked with the partners to gather all required information. After importing from 2 brokerage firms, I was asked to review 382 entries for incomplete information. I deleted the return and just did manual entry of the 1099-DIV (s)

Program was horrible. Wouldn't allow me to transfer my docs from last year, kept dropping info, kept skipping sections. Horrible experience and I have been using your product for years. The topper was when I got to filing my taxes and, even though I paid for the free state, I kept getting a fee at the end. Called to find out that only the download was free not the filing. False advertising as far as I'm concerned. We have always gotten a free efiling for one state and then we paid for one after that. VERY negagive experience.

There is a glitch on form 7206 line 11 which incorrectly calculated my taxes. I had to contact a turbo-tax professional to correct the issue and we had to manipulate the information on the forms to get the correct calculations and then file an amended return. I found it in reviewing my taxes from previous years. The professional was very good but I don't think the people he had to contact to resolve the issue understood the problem. I feel someone at Turbo Tax should have corrected the forms when it was brought to their attention..

Every year Turbo Tax changes the way they ask questions re K-1. I make a note from the previous year on how to enter and the next year the question is differently worded so it's hard to figure out what is being asked. On State Tax return it kept locking up when I was trying to enter the different states. Not happy. May switch next year what tax app I use.

The format for this year's version was fair at best. Last year's format was much, much better. The glitches when attempting to import documents was annoying and quite frustrating! Bring back the staff that formatted the Turbo Tax program from last year. This experience left me with far less confidence in the product. I will need to think about using Turbo Tax next year which greatly saddens me. I never thought twice about using Turbo Tax, not anymore!

As a long time Turbo Tax user I found this year's version to be less user friendly than previous versions. Also I find the lack of state return documentation worksheets to be a problem. If the software transfers an amount from the federal information entered but changes the amount for any reason there should be a worksheet generated, especially when your telephone support does not know why the amount changes. A simple worksheet showing the computation performed by the software should be provided.

It mostly was simple and good, but the nags for upsells are slightly annoying. A few prompts were also slightly confusing but thankfully I ran into no issues. forcing windows 11 though on it's own deducts a star regardless, since I had to wipe my computer just to file my taxes. Better than being completely forced online or on a subscription. (which is being pushed too)

Similar to my review a year ago, my experience with TurboTax does not meet the standards that Turbo Tax has earned and established over 30 years. i've used Turbo Tax since about Windows 95/98 or Win 2000. i could always count on the product to be accurate and reliable. No longer. in the current version i encountered at least a dozen broken links; lack of Help Information; lack of a Data Source; etc. Lack of a Data Source makes it very difficult to make a change when the data cannot be found. E.G. 1) The 'audit' said i could not have a basis in a leased vehicle on the Car/Truck worksheet. it had a zero (that i did not input) and would not allow me to "blank out" the zero. 2) It did not prompt me or allow me anywhere in the Interview to work on Form 8962.i had to find it in Forms Mode to work on it. i use the Desktop version. it 'feels like' the Desktop version has problems due to integration with your SAAS software model. If 'feels like' your quality control folks did not process enough use cases. A few other tax experts (friends) I've spoken with have had siiar (similar) experience. 3) even spell check in this review is messed up. i just typed "similar"; the spell cheker changed ti to 'silar'. and changed 'checker' to 'cheker'. I'll probably ued (i typed "use" and spell cheker changed it to 'ued') TurboTax next yer (spell checker changed "year" to "yer"), but my confidence in hepoduct (spell checker changed "in the product" to "in hepoducet") is highly diminished.

There seemed to be some improvements this year on the program, making it easier to navigate. Easy to download and begine the program. Program did have some difficulty finding the previous year's return on my computer to download information from 2024 return. I had to manually load the information for the 2024 return to pull in the information. After that everything was very easy o enter in information.
