Missing an important feature of pension income for teachers in NJ who are required to contribute pre-tax to their pensions. When they retire they pay federal but not NJ state income tax on those pre-tax contributions, up to the point when their pension disbursements equal their pre tax contributions. FIX IT!

Have been using Turbo Tax for years and it has been so easy to do and saved us so much time and money. As an active-duty military family who has been stationed all over the world using Turbo Tax has made filing taxes a breeze no matter where we have lived.

I entered my tax information twice because the first copy determined I underpayment RMD 18,000.. I tried to remove the error by entering the correct amount many times but finally decided to start over and enter all information again using a new filing.

I do not like the restriction to not install via CD. I understand the cost savings and software versioning control but if there is a problem with installation (like I had as a result of a Windows 11 upgrade), it is much easier to resolve. I also was told many times that I needed to do a software update before i could file. A version check said i was OK. After 15 or so times, upon launching, it did perform an update and allowed me to file. I assume the update was being over-taxed by concurrent users, creating the delay.The lack of a CD option may prevent me from using this product next year regardless of over 10 years of use.

We were a bit nervous not to be able to purchase a CD version for the first time in 2024. However things went smoothly as I had saved my username and password from previous years as a TurboTax user. Really appreciate the walk throughs allowing us to get all the deductions we possibly can.

I've used you product for years, never a complaint, this year I couldn't find any thing that needed to be carried over, but yet you say there is. I paid extra to get represented, but yet I can't find out how to file my state, I now have 3 copies of my Federal yet nothing for my state. Not at all happy with this tax year results

I had to pay full price to submit state tax. The help is horrid, if I wanted to find where a certain item is placed it tells me to go to the Community, if lucky enough for an answer it gives in away most people can't understand and end up having to google it. I like having the CD, one would think that removing an item may lower the cost, NOPE. I am canceling my auto delivery. It is not user friendly anymore

Had lots of trouble with downloads of updates. I had to go to the website and get them to progress. Also had trouble with the GA credit form. Think that I needed to use 140 instead of 125. Turbo would not let me make the change. This was not my first time to use Turbo Tax.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. This years (2024) Turbo Tax was a little disappointing compared to prior years. The app froze sometimes and I had to force quit and restart. Also the import feature did not work for E-Trade and Fidelity Investments, so I typed info in by hand.

The program helps out a lot but it is not designed for seniors. If I don't want to e-file state taxes the program should take me to a screen to print state return and not try to force me to e-file. I know things are ever changing, have you thought about the millions of seniors that can't nor keep up with the changes. I put a nickname in the nickname box on this survey and states it is use by someone else, it's a nickname for God sakes.
