I was a little disappointed in Turbo tax that i could not retrieve my taxes from last year. You have stated you did not have access to it but I have been filing with TT for many many years. It made it a little difficult to maneuver through the questions this time.

Not so easy anymore. Tried to e-file both federal and state. Found outrageous charge for state. Tried to take it out of federal but found no way to eliminate Premium Turbo Tax fees. Attempted to print state to mail in instead. It printed "copy for my records" I guess, no address to mail return to. Had to go back and click to not file anything by e-file. Finally printed correct state forms for mailing. 20 year user of Turbo Tax...why?

I've used TurboTax for almost 20 years. But I was very frustrated with it this year. Changing the way interest, dividends and capital gains are entered is confusing and frustrating - especially trying to get them all under one investment product. And going through e-filing was also difficult - so many error traps (while good, their resolution is difficult to understand. Finally, I don't appreciate having to pay for one State filing. I accidently chose a State and then was not allowed that free State filing. Too manu changes - to short of time. Very frustrating after so many years of good experience.

I believe I've been using TurboTax since it was invented and always thought it was awesome, but this year, after you all reviewed and said great job and found no errors, the Fed and State returns were REJECTED! Apparently they are question the PIN numbers used, which were the same as last year. Waiting for TurboTax or the FED and State to advise me on how to fix it.

The software works fine, but it cost too much. I managed to get a discounted price. If I was not able to do that, I would have switched to a different software or did them online through the IRS website. If your price continues to increase, I will switch. I have already opted out of purchasing Quicken because it is way over priced. If you bring that subscription price down to around $30, I might consider resubscribing.

Turbotax makes preparing and sending state and federal tax returns quick and easy. Step by step instructions and checks your returns for errors. if you did your taxes previously with turbotax, many fields are downloaded from poor returns. Highly recommended

I was not happy to discover that although at the beginning of the process I was led to believe that even if I filed my tax forms I could pay only a partial amount of the tax due, when it came time to file I did not notice an opportunity to indicate how much I wanted to pay up front.

Generally like TurboTax.but have an issue with it asking me if had any unused deductions, loan points, etc to carry over from last year, or to go back to last years return and check line so&so. when I put everything into last years return and it has access to last years return. This should be automatic.

I use turbotax every year, but at the end it comes up with a question I have no answer for. This time it was the K1, and they wanted something about 199A statement —I had no clue what it wanted, I called my treasurer and he had no clue, I checked the club tax info, no clue, I paid for an expert and even he had to search over half an hour to find a little box I needed to check. There is not enough info about WHAT number is needed — it is frustrating. Especially as the K1 was not even enough income to matter at all.

Using TurboTax for years has made filing my returns a snap. This year however, the info downloaded from my investment company was incomplete, leaving me with a lot of work. Printing out all the data on my investments revealed that ALL of the information was there.It just didn’t transfer into Turbotax as it had in years past. So, not a snap this time.
